I made the better points throughout this entire discussion. Anybody who debates with people on facts and positions alone backed out of the conversation a long time ago.

If I was harsh, That's a rare thing for me and it's because it really matters right now that we don't pretend these are normal times and that we don't pretend that having a beer with Trump is going to make us less divided.

We are divided and we are divided on principle on several fronts. There is no use pretending we are not

But facts and positions are good discussions. Loiosh is putting out honest feedback. Im not commenting on others as I just looked at his post. Why does it really matter right now? It is good faith posting though. It's just firmly not allowing apologetics for trump who is a fascist to gain traction which is what he organized through maher.

Also as a person who often sides against the left on many issues I can say that there is no body they hate more than a person who does not walk lockstep with them. That's one of bill mahes points where he is correct .

The difference between me and them is I am doing it only on this issue of a fascist dictator who is actively destroying this county. They will do it over even the smallest disagreements.

With Trump, cruelty is the point and he's dehumanizing people including American citizens for thought crimes now and shipping off people to prison camps who are innocent. If ever there was a time to stand up with some fire this would be it.
