LOL Who literally said that? Everyone has at least some sort of bias on a variety of subjects but when people are trying to push theirs I always wonder why they don't make the effort to be accurate with there claims. It weakens your position when you give up loose strings for easy picking from people who disagree with you. Liars who lie about small things are going to lie about big things.
This is just one example and it ain't even a bad one. I'm not defending what he did say, reread if you don't get the point. The best counter answer off the top of my head would be that people are stupid, lazy and don't give a crap as long as they are on the same side as the word twister, which is sad.
I'll hang on for any outraged replies who are going to tell me all kinds of crap except not be able to explain how I'm wrong.

Don't you think it's a bit of a distinction without a difference? Are you going to suggest he's not implying strongly that he's done that on more than one occasion?

Edit: I have been known to be somewhat pedantic about such things and perhaps it's true that it provides fodder for the disingenuous to distract from the point so, yeah, I agree it's better to be accurate, but in day to day back and forth around here not everyone is going to care to be that diligent. I doubt you can expect any sort of behavioural reform. It seems more productive to me to nip such an objection in the bud and add a correction by providing the actual quote, rather than to complain and not source the quote either.


Just my 2 cents.

Hello father of three daughters. Believe it or not, unattractive women do experience sexual harassment/assault.
The fact is sex crimes, just like any other crime, is often about opportunities, not about how pretty the victim is.
I’d actually wager that less attractive women sometimes get sexually harassed more, because the harassers think
“She’s so ugly that no one will believe I raped her"

Not sure if @Scerpi is referring to her loooks, but to the fact it was the delay in reporting etc. to that point, victims of sexual assault are very reluctant to come forward for these reasons alone. People attack them, rather than the alleged accused.

For the record, trump was in fact attracted to em Carroll bigly.

Well I am going from memory but are you complaining he said something like " it's true, you can even grab them by the pussy" and not "I grab them by the pussy"?
