im gonna admit that i dont know much about purses and i'm no purse connoisseur, but i cant tell the difference between that $70,000 purse and a $30 purse other than the brand name embedded on it.

but it serves the purpose of carrying stuff around inside of it, so if given the choice of the $30 purse or the $70,000 purse, i'm buying the $30 purse because it does the same job and i don't care what other people think about me and i'll never buy stuff just to try to impress anybody else. and if i cared about any of that, i'd just buy a $30 purse that looked similar and slap a fake hermes logo on it instead.

now i dont know how much an alligator costs and i don't think that they sell alligators on ebay, but for 70 grand i'd rather just buy an alligator and have it slaughtered and have the skin made into a bunch of purses and spend the rest of the money on a couple of trucks or something. i can't carry a couch around on the back of my purse, i can't drive a purse at a hundred miles an hour, and i can haul alot more shit around in a truck than i ever could with a purse. and trucks are harder to steal.

Trump can absolutely appeal, for free (well, he really SHOULD pay his own lawyers) but then none of his properties/assets are protected during the appeal process (which may take years to run it's course) and Letitia will start taking away pieces of his portfolio one at a time until the judgement is satisfied.

I'm here for it, I'd laugh my ass off, because I suspect that that will pretty much dismantle his entire "empire" because everything he "owns" is so leveraged, the state will have to liquidate a lot more than they think they will have to.

That process will begin/can begin on Monday. ...unfortunately form my desire for Schaudenfraude, I fully expect Donald to post bond, this poverty plea is just a negotiation tactic from a serial liar...whether it comes from Saudi Arabia, or China, or wherever he'll get the money with a promise to give whatever they might want once he regains office.
