Lethal Weapon has to be the second best buddy cop flick of all time. Right behind 48 hours. And I think LW2 is underrated a sequels go. Not quite T2, Aliens, The Empire Strikes Back, or The Road Warrior. But one tier below, and maybe the only film in that tier. Can't think of a comparable one right now. I guess Another 48 Hours would be a candidate. Or Blade Runner 2049 if it counts as a sequel.
