When they say "law and order" it is a a 100% euphemism for this contract. I think if Trump is actually put in jail, this will be a call for violence for some. Blood will flow. I am certainly not making that call, as you said. But I think some will see it that way. He is a hero to many. I think this would finally cause some on the right to riot. Possibly escalate to a civil war type scenario in some people's minds. I honestly don't think it could be pulled off.

I still doubt that Trump is going to spend even a day in jail and won't face anywhere near the consequences that this guy faced.

I can't think of a single good outcome here.

He obviously isn't going to prison, just imagine the secret service concerns.

There will probably be political sanctions, but who cares, he's only damaging the GOP right now. This isn't about that anyways, this is about the rule of law.

I don't think it will matter. I don't reckon the US Justice system is going to be held hostage by the feelings of chuds-in-media-bubble-lala-land for something so clear cut. In an ideal world IMO, Trump would know when to quit and would be content with a semi-Nixon-style pardon so we don't have to go through the circus of prosecuting a former POTUS. But I don't see that working.
