Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

Didn't they literally try to get all of these documents back quietly without delving into criminal investigations and indictments? But then he fought the process, lied, kept documents after saying he already returned everything, etc etc.
How could you even believe that? Who's reporting it? Since when have they ever made anything easy on Trump? Jesus Obama had him under surveillance before he was even in the Oval Office.

My point being, I wouldn't be inclined to believe any reporting about Trump at face value. It's all so skewed against him that it's basically impossible to ascertain what actually happened / is happening. I definitely believe Trump kept documents and I believe he is an idiot, for sure.

This governmental response is unprecedented in my experience, and it is consistent with the treatment Trump has gotten since day 1. I hate the idea of a billionaire being a victim but the guy has been attacked from every angle for years. Surprised he would even try to run for office again, he pissed off really important people, apparently.

You'd think a guy who's been on Epstein's planes and island would eventually get cut a deal, but they're out to put him away for good.

People on the right should look on the bright side. If this gets Trump out of the way of running in 2024, he can galvanize his cult over this and put them behind DeSantis as long as DeSantis dangles a juicy pardon carrot out there to get himself elected.

I don't have to defend Trump, he didn't really do anything wrong. He did the same thing every other president has done( and still does).

Why does Trump keeping documents from his time as president bother you more than Biden taking $5 million dollar bribes.

Maybe you feel this way because you're an openly garbage human being?

Trump aide Walt Nauta found classified documents in December 2021 that had spilled out of the boxes onto the floor of the storage room at Mar-a-Lago.

The documents included intelligence that was releasable only to “Five Eyes” countries – an intelligence-sharing alliance between the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, according to the indictment.

Nauta texted another Trump employee, “I opened the door and found this,” including two photographs of the spilled documents. At least one of the photographs, shown in the indictment, had classified information in it.

----

It also states that the documents contained information about potential vulnerabilities of the US and its allies to a military attack – as well as plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack.

“The classified documents Trump stored in his boxes included information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries; United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack; and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack,” the indictment says.

----

It includes one document found at Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago resort, which was classified as top secret and dated June 2020, “concerning nuclear capabilities of a foreign country,” according to the indictment.

This document was not only classified as top secret, but also included additional restrictions of “ORCON” and “NOFORN.”

Documents designated as ORCON cannot be disseminated outside of the department issuing it without approval. Those labeled NOFORN cannot be shared with foreign nationals.

"if you elect me, i'll make it totally legal and unpunishable to steal top secret and classified documents and store nuclear secrets right next to our toilets!"

might be one of the weirdest election pitches i've ever heard of

Mar-A-LArdo getting hit with 37 more counts haha. Was the porn pay off 34?

Don't be intellectually dishonest. If you care about Trump and his crimes, at least be consistent and demand justice for all the other high-ranking politicians that have behaved in a similar manner.
This is a thread about trump being indicted, and the thread title needs an update imo.

If you want to discuss hunters laptop or any other biden conspiracy, go start a thread about it.

I haven't read up on all the ins and outs of presidential pardons but isn't it pretty much if it's a federal case the president can pardon? I think maybe the only caveat is that he would have to 'formally' be convicted/admit to the crime? If so then yeah, Trump and the cult will have no problem playing the whole "Only admitting to guilt to secure the pardon, the charges are still politically motivated and BS" card.

You know, I would agree with you... but this doesn't seem like it'll ever stop until they get him in federal prison. They're out to make an example out of him and they're unloading all the ammo on him now.

Trump can't go to Federal Prison. He has State secrets and he can't be trusted to keep them so even in the best of times. Trump's Secret Service detail is now there not to protect Trump, but to protect the United States from Trump and all that he may divulge.

If you don't believe any reporting on Trump then what do you believe?

How are you forming your perspectives and opinions?

38. i know it might seem petty when we are already at 37, but that 1 extra indictment is 1 more indictment than brandon and obama have under their names combined.
I was merely throwing him a bone thinking about his commissary.

Has anyone seen his wife this year?
