trump's ride or die lawyer who told him that the fake electors thing was illegal but he disregarded it and told everyone to go along with the plot anyways

he's also the same dude who signed a sworn affadavit to the courts that there was no more classified documents or documents belonging to the government on the mar-a-lago property, only for them to execute a search warrant at the mar-a-lago and recover more classified documents and other government property a few months later. they'll probably indict him on it eventually, but for the sake of getting a speedier trial they're gonna put trump on trial first and deal with the rest of the co-conspirators later.

Seems to fit Georgia’s version of RICO pretty nicely. Not sure what the other poster’s objection is, unless he’s thinking it’s the same as the federal version.
 
the more people indicted the weaker this feels. it's either a full blown conspiracy and they're all fucked or it's just lawyers filling a weak lawsuit with a tiny bit of precedent behind it.

1 year minimum for a few other charges too

no way to get a pardon until 5 years after he serves his sentence either.

jack smith should just take a back seat. this trial is only expected to take a couple weeks. they can put him away and there aint fuck all he can do about it, even if he wins the election!
