Crime trump executive order cartels terrorists.

They are just farmers but Trump think they are terrorists because they are brown!

As opposed to an organised crime group standing and banging with the most technologically advanced and powerful military in the world?

<YeahOKJen>
I mean worse off enemies have done it in very recent history, with far less resources and incentive. The cartels aren't just organized criminals, they're a paramilitary state with international connections and influence even in our country. It's real easy to call for a war on our border while you're across the pond playing call of duty.

I mean, if you support this EO, you may very well end up supporting war.

It authorizes the deployment of all reserves. If they actually do start raiding cartels, they're going to fight back.
With the scourge of deaths in the US from fentanyl etc, and entire cities overrun with Drugs that come from the Cartels, it's probably a more important 'war" than we have had in a long time. The drugs that come in don't just cost lives. They create this homeless disaster, cost taxpayers millions, on top of the lives ruined and/or lost. These cartels are every bit as evil as any other evil we have faced.

So you're going to enlist?

I didn't call for this war. Americans did. And this isn't invading Afghanistan or Vietnam. It's more akin to Mossad sending pagers to Hezbollah with a very special app pre-installed.

The enemies that have done the most damage are like Al Qaeda or ISIS: fanatics/retards willing to die for their cause. The only cause the cartels have is money. As I pointed out up thread, the last time low-ranking Mexican criminals killed a US citizen, the cartels handed them over to law enforcement themselves rather than risk pissing off America.

No it's not, the cartels make all those groups look like amateurs. They're part of the Mexican state itself and control the politicians. Entire Mexican states are under cartel control.

Cartels are businessmen. Terrorists are fanatics. And, Plata o Plomo doesn't work as well on the US Military as it does on Mexican LE or politicians.

I've already said I don't think it will stop the flow of drugs, or even make a significant dent in it. But it will mean a lot of very nasty criminals being killed, and that's a good enough reason by itself.

Could this be a hidden blow to big pharma and/or the cia?

And at the same time, if the stories of cartels running entire states down there are true, we go in, liberate the mexican ppl from cartel control, set up some bases down there, and bing bang boom the us and mexico are basically one. they keep their sovreignty but we help police the areas. that would be one step closer to control of north america, putting pressure on canada to get on board.

Smart play.

The drug cartels also have connections to other terrorist groups and they get an estimated $13 billion dollars on human trafficking.

A lot of innocent Americans have been murdered by cartels doing business on our side of the border. Would you allow that to continue?
A lot of those innocent Americans and Mexicans have been killed by the illegal guns flowing from the US in to Mexico.

Do you think that should be allowed to continue and what right of unilateral reprisal would you give Mexico if they identified a US gang or arms supplier, in a US city?

Surely if America believes Mexico ("a SH country") can control its border to stop drug flow, the US can control their border to stop the main payment, guns. Right?

I am legit curious how you feel about my question above?

Would you support the Mexican gov't sending drone and special forces attacks in to the US as long as the Mexicans identified the targets as those sending illegal guns in to Mexico?
