Elections Trump Cabinet Appointment - TRACKER

Dana White as Press Secretary is being floated
Of all this madness going around, this one at least I would support. Dana would at least bring the lols. And let's face it, press secretary isn't a policy making position so really cares if that one gets bonked.

Bro, being educated as a doctor or going to MIT doesn't make you qualified to lead a government agency. At the very least, it's not the ONLY way to be qualified.

Having education, private sector experience, public office experience and to be mentally stable are all qualifications.

We've been listening and relying on educated elitist and they've only made our lives worse.
Bro, Brinton had all of that experience:

They cofounded a national advocacy group called Stand with Science, which was represented in 30 colleges and universities. In 2014, Brinton was its executive director and had the same role in the National Science Policy Group.

They were the senior policy analyst for the Bipartisan Polocy Center, lobbying for updated regulations to make it possible for nuclear waste to be repurposed used to power nuclear reactors.

Britton was Director of Legislative Affairs and then Director of Global Political Strategy for a nuclear waste disposal company called Deep Isolation.

Britton also had previous experience at the Breakthrough Institute, which is an environmental research center along with a couple of other research centers.

All that experience is there. There’s nothing to indicate mental instability either, other than I’m sure Righties would say being trans does.

And no, “educated lefties” haven’t made your life worse. I know that’s what the “uneducated righty” podcast, tweets, and media outlets are telling you, but it’s nonsense.

Per your last paragraph. I'm talking the "educated" elites on the left and right. They've entangled us in endless war, endless corruption, loss of manufacturing jobs and so much more.

I understand that sentiment, for sure. The more “overt” wars are in large part a direct result of the Bush Admin.

A lot of the shadow war type stuff from the Obama years is tough…most of those are to assist counterterrorism efforts so terrorist groups don’t get a foothold in the government there. And it’s really shitty, and it’s expensive, but I think what we see with Hamas leading the Palestinian government and what’s happening over there now, what happens when those groups get that foothold. It’s like, you either fuck with them now shadow-war style, or fuck with them later in a more overt war. It’s a really shitty situation.

I really have a problem with the way Trump is portrayed on this topic. His rhetoric towards North Korea had us planning for possible nuclear war, and were fortunate nothing major happened; he killed Solemaini, and judging by the recent Iranian assassination plot against him, it doesn’t seem like they’re over it yet; I could write a novel on why his appeasement of Russia is awful; Trump’s Syria withdrawal was a disaster, his Mideast *cough* “peace deal” was a disaster, canceling the nuclear deal with Iran has proven to be a disaster… his presidency was marked by isolationism and strained ties with allies (remember when Markel of Germany started taking the lead on international affairs because Trump wouldn’t?).

Trump is not some amazing diplomat and man of peace, and I am pretty concerned about foreign policy in this upcoming administration.

Needs more CT nut jobs. Alex jones for the Secretary of Alternate Facts?

Can you summarize why exactly it’s in our strategic national interest to be aggressively opposed to Russia? I still have a very hard time understanding why it’s so important.

I mean, isn't it fucking obvious? They're arming terrorists all over the world, they're actively toppling governments and destabilizing countries all over Africa, they're sabotaging infrastructure all over the EU and carrying out assassinations all over the world. They're literally ratfucking the entire internet with disinformation to influence election outcomes in our country and in our allies countries. Did you even know they were calling in bomb threats during our election?

Whether we like it or not, they see us as our enemy. We tried playing nice and pretending they weren't a bunch of mafia thugs doing the bidding of murderous kleoptocrats in the 2000s, 2010s, it's pretty clear no matter what concession or deals we make, it's not enough for them.

I still have a very hard time understanding why so called conservatives are suddenly so naïve when it comes to Russia's actions.

And Gabbard is certainly the dumbest person to be in her position ever. I think we (Americans) are going to get a hard lesson in the importance of competence over the next four years.

Least qualified to be nominated for sure, but not sold yet she'll actually be confirmed.

It really depends who the deputy will be whether or not she is confirmed. Per law she doesn't have the qualifications on her own, it would require a very strong deputy to confirm her.

I do find it funny when a conservative will get accused of being a russian shill by lefties who cant see they themselves are brainwashed by Russian propaganda that has been poisoning the political landscape since the cold war. You want to figure out where wokeism came from...

Lol @ Americans learning their lesson at all.

It's why we are back to the clown show administration.
True, but Trump did make an effort to pick qualified people last time. He had crazy bad turnover and obviously was a corrupt buffoon himself. Running things like a dictator (and prizing personal loyalty over all other considerations) is going to be bad in predictable ways but also unpredictable ways, as we just won't have the organizational quality in many areas to deal with normal problems that arise. The one good thing from all this is that I do expect to see another, bigger pendulum swing toward valuing cool competence, as we'll again need a big cleanup job in four years.

One of the trans persons in the Biden Admin is Rachel Levine as Assistant Health Secretary, and she is an actual MD.
Having worked in HHS for going on 30 years, being an MD shouldn't really lend any credence to that pick IMO. Being ASH is a glorified PR position for the Commissioned Corps that completely backfired with the "first 4-star female" crap.

The majority of the left need some serious introspection. Some understand this after seeing the silent majority come out in the election and wholeheartedly reject them. Many are stubborn, and will continue to spew venom at anything Trump related. Just like when a child is having a temper tantrum, you just leave them alone and let them exhaust themselves.

No he didn't.

He literally went on Joe Rogan's podcast and said he didn't know most of those people and appointed them based on what other people told him to do lol.

Gaetz - the ultimate lib-triggering pick. Almost on par with Alex Jones as press sec or Charlie Kirk on education. So, meh.

since clearly these are not serious people looking to take themselves and their positions seriously to better the country and they only serve to lick trump's boots, then fuck it! alex jones for whitehouse press secretary.

while we are already pretty much there, roger stone for CIA director, kid rock for the ministry of rock, mike lindell for the department of defense, mark robinson for HUD secretary, p. diddy for transportation secretary, george santos to the department of combating misinformation, don jr. to take charge of the federal reserve, kanye west for the department of education unless lauren hoebert and MTG want to fight each other for that position that neither is overqualified for, either dr. oz or dr. phil for department of health & human services, and of course intercepting ballistic missiles is like intercepting a football, therefore herschel walker is the best fit for department of homeland security.

only the best!
