Elections Trump Cabinet Appointment - TRACKER

Trump learned from his last time in the seat…. He had picked some people that were qualified like Mattis, Kelly, Burr, Sessions, and other which all told him things he didn’t like to hear. He’s not having that happen again.

Nothing but yes men and boot kickers this time, regardless of their complete lack of qualifications for the position.

No he didn't.

He literally went on Joe Rogan's podcast and said he didn't know most of those people and appointed them based on what other people told him to do lol.
They weren't who I'd pick, and some were very weak by normal standards, but Mattis, Tillerson, Mnuchin, Kelly, Haley, and Coats were much better than this lot. Even Sessions was at least nowhere near as bad as Gaetz. And listening to what other, smarter people tell him is exactly what he should do and what he’s not appearing to do this time. His last administration was notably incompetent (which is part of why he was able to accomplish so little), but he's looking to drill through the sewer this time.

So what are the odds Alex Jones gets a cabinet position?

department of combating misinformation. that job would have went to george santos, but he is too busy leading the byzantine empire to take such a lowly position.

he'd be hilarious for a whitehouse press secretary too. he'd just respond to every question by going off about the deep state and then try to sell you some dick pills.

These two were very good IMO. Mattis is about as good as a choice as possible.
Tillerson was a weird choice and obviously not someone with any really relevant experience, but he was a smart dude who could run an organization really well. I wouldn't rate him highly among all past SoSes, but he was definitely a lot better than Rubio (who is actually one of Trump's least-bad picks this time). I wonder what people who bought into the idea that Trump is secretly a dove are thinking now.

Thinking would require a brain.
