Current Disney, director that has only a few credits which are other Disney films, I'll wait and see. Loved Tron: Legacy, but that was a different time and by a whole different crew.

Update: July 17, 2025

Nah.

As a designer, I guess neon vector lines are making a comeback, but this time, in red.

To be fair, I really liked the last Tron.
So did I. But that was a while ago. That guy defends all the woke BS and gets mad when people call it out, probably because he likes it. Disney has literally fucked up so many things with woke crap and he is an apologist. I think it would be natural to worry they would fuck this up too. I hope they don't, because I do like the world saw the original in the theaters as a kid.

Got the new NIN vinyl and CD delivered just now!

I've just sold a ton of Tron RW&B bikes I printed on Ebay, conversely.

3 girlbosses in this movie. SMH.

Sam Flynn took over as CEO of Encom, but apparently failed. The Asian girlboss below is the new CEO genius programmer who saved the company by creating a Fortnite like game. The black chick is the big bad - also played the lesbian space witch in the Acolyte.

Maybe it's just where I'm at, but the promotion for this movie has been dismal. The ads are sparse, and the ads I do see aren't all that inspiring. The official trailers are good, but the TV spots seem like the studio doesn't have much confidence in it. Makes it look like some random spin off series. Just zero effort. I'm thinking the Leto stuff might have them just shitting this movie out. It's almost like they want it to fail.

It was probably gonna bomb anyways, as for whatever reason this franchise just doesn't connect with the masses, but compared to the promotional campaign for "Legacy", it's been extremely weak.
