Don't disagree with that but still. It's a complete destruction of societal norms that 9/10 work well. We're seeing nothing to be taboo anymore, from both sides of the coin. Accept everyone and everything or become problematic to those in charge.

Genuine question mate. Do you find anything about that post I quoted weird? Or is just something we should just accept as the new normal? Is that normalcy going forward? If yes, you're a fucking lunatic. If no we're on the same page. If you're indifferent to it, that's obviously harder to gauge. I could see your diplomatic ways but the other side of diplomacy is usually talking it down. You're a good poster and a very good mod actually (you've privately warned me a few times without carding me, which I really appreciate coz that's rare behaviour for mods here).

But I would love to hear how that particular video is acceptable and normal? And if not, why are you defending it?

I was replying to YOUR post. The parallels with Weimar Germany are frankly absolutely astounding. I just don't see nearly as many with Ancient Rome. Hardly any, actually.

I didn't watch that video. Frankly I don't want to. Children shouldn't go to drag shows. Granted, I went to one with my mom when I was a teenager (15 going on 16). It was more about comedy than being lewd or whatever. This was back in the 90s. Parents should use discretion and good judgment and gauge how old their child is, level of maturity and how age appropriate the entertainment is.

Look, I'm a rather masculine straight guy. I have no quarrel with the LGBT+ community but I don't really like to watch gay stuff if I can avoid it. I'm not going to watch the video. I can imagine what's on it. I don't want a police state. I don't want a nanny state. To a large extent you've got to let people be themselves, let parents make decisions for their children, and the government should only interfere when absolutely necessary. But I definitely won't be bringing my kids to drag queen story hour. And neither will @Deorum.
