I've got a few Tool songs on my ipod after seeing them in concert last summer but haven't ever gotten into them much. While squatting today "the pot" came on and was the perfect song to get through the set.

Their excellent musicianship along with the passion Maynard sings with is what makes them the perfect lifting music IMO, but the only other "lifting songs" of theirs I have are vicarious, schism, lateralis, aenima, and stink fist.

Look back in this thread, I posted their video of 46 and 2. You have the rest of their best already listed, but for me 46 and 2 stands at the top, it just builds slowly, but the end is furious.

TDWP Still fly was good. I really liked the chorus, but when he does that screaming talk thing is what I don't like, I think thats like you know when they're voice just sounds really harsh or whatever.
 
My playlists are pretty eclectic (which sounds better than random and weird). Everything from Serj, AIC, and Megadeth to Avril, Black Eyed Peas, and The Divinyls - with some Bon Jovi, DMX and Johnny Cash thrown in for good measure. This summer, I fear it'll be mostly Bar Bri's Contracts, Torts and Crim Pro CDs, sadly - at least during cardio.

I like Seasons in the Abyss better than Reign in Blood too. I like Rust in Peace better than both.

I cannot believe how many times Tool has been mentioned in this thread .. I love them, but they are not good for lifting music by any means, short of Aenima and Ticks and Leeches. Maybe a couple songs off of Opiate. Seriously.

Amon Amarth, Pantera, MSI, Nine Inch Nails, Hed P.E. (not a big fan of theirs, but it's great for background music during workouts), etc., etc.

Bullshit. Sober, Stinkfist, 46 and 2, Schism, Prison Sex. You could probably make an hours worth of Tool music that is great for lifting. But since you said Amon Amarth, I won't hate you. And I offer this:
