Meh, $60 and if doesn't look any better than the standard $25-$30 releases they put out. I'm honestly shocked at how little McFarlane has improved their figures since they started the new DC Multiverse and Spawn waves like 5 years ago. They still use those giant, ugly pins, sculpt can be extremely lacking in detail, no paint, and odd looking articulation and joints. They occasionally put out a really great looking figure that has a brand new sculpt but most of the time it's recycled shit like this. And $60? Lmao get the hell out of here.

wtf, why is he so ...normal looking? when i was a kid every action figure looked like it was shooting all the steroids for breakfast and eating gamma rays for lunch.

It sold out at the MacFarlane store. I guess there's a lot of hardcore Spawn fans out there.

oh yeah, if you're a fan you're a fan, it's just weird how normal that figurine looks compared to something like this. it's like seeing a 1950's GI Joe vs a 1980s one.

Been slacking on posting robot goodness for you.

Got all 4 of these around Black Friday. Picked up the two on the left first, mainly to see if I liked the bases/stands. Picked up the other 2 immediately after.

Brand: High Godo
Name: Left to right - Flame, Ice, Shadow, Thunder (AKA the American Gladiator Mechs)
Price: $22.99 each on Amazon (Paid $10.48 each on sale).
Stand: Kinda, they came with bases.

So at around 450 Pieces and under $11 I figured I would take a shot. Mainly wanted to see if the bases were going to work, maybe for other models. While they didn't come with a way to attach the mech, I can see ways that they might be able to be modified to do that.

The mechs are only about 5-6" tall, so much smaller than the ones I usual build (that's what she said?).

They were pretty easy to put together, and the bases are around 100 pieces. One thing I was worried about, especially on the silver/blue one, was telling the colors apart in the directions, but they did an amazing job of clearly showing what was what.

Speaking of the colors. NOBODY does metallics like High Godo. They looks so damn crisp and feel like something you'd see "for real" on a mech. Wasn't sure I'd like the purple one, but it looks fantastic in person.

The lower bodies are pretty good for posing, the uppers... not so much. The arms are so tight to the body, and to the upper and lower arms are also so close that you can't get a full 90 degree bend. They look super cool, especially the red one, but getting them into firing positions takes odd angles.

I think the red one is my favorite of the bunch. The package it came in was pretty smooshed and the sticker sheet was "damaged" (the outline was pulled off most of the way, but the stickers were fine. It did take some sleuthing to make sure they got where they were supposed to).

I don't think they would be worth full price, but on sale they definitely were well worth the cost.

Overall I'd say 6 outta 10. Improved arms and that would jump.

Just one picture, but if you want more let me know.
