Wow! MacFarlane is going hard in the paint today with these releases!

Trust me, no porch pirate wants a whirling dervish of fangs and claws going for the throat over a package. ;)

What about the dog though?

Daughter asked did I want Tigra retro card for about $6 from her work. Already have her ( bit orange to my eye but still...) but said yes , one on card , one opened...

This is her at around 2 years old. She's bigger now and she's attached at the hip to my wife.

It's not fair! I trained her! 🥺

These guys are going to have a "wounded warrior" sale this Friday from 11A.M. to 12 P.M E.S.T.

Basically it's a scratch n' dent sale for the boxes. The pieces inside are good, but the box may have a dent or two. It's perfect for you "out of the box" Philistines here in the thread!

Our current GSD is coming up to 2 years. Kinda useless as a guard dog but goofy and loveable. We rely on the Greek mongrel dog we have to protect the house...

So I knew going into building this beast that it had some issues with being super fragile (watched a YouTube video). That is an understatement. Without glue there is zero chance this stays together. Knowing that I didn't get nearly as frustrated as the last one I had with this issue.

This brand is QwlJYfv. You try pronouncing that.

It's based off of the Bull Demon King from Chinese legend (no clue if that's accurate or not, but I'm going to say it is).

This is another build that really could have been cool and rated higher with a few design changes. I really think they tried to add too much to it, where simplifing things would have worked much better.

1666 pieces in total. The directions were pretty good and easy to understand for the most part. This was another where there were multiple bags with the same number (put in pictures). Also decided to show you how much of a dweeb I am with how I lay out the pieces before building.

The axe looks really cool but WAY too heavy to try and have it in its hand. The two halves also have a gap since there isn't any connection points.

The joints are all actually really really good. Not sure what the point of the skirting is.

I love the color scheme - the bronze really pops. Kinda hard to see what's going on with the head since it's not super well set apart, but I liked what they were going for.

All in all I liked the build, but will need to get a better glue to make sure it stays together. A stand would have helped a lot.

Overall 7.25/

Man! That's great stuff! I don't think I have the patience and steady enough hands to put something as gargantuan as that together!

Kudos to you!

Thanks! Usually the bricks snap together tight enough that you don't really need a steady hand. This one had quite a few angled spots that made it harder to put together with the counter pressure wanting to pop off the other side.

Already have my next one here and going to pop it open. The Monkey King is still my favorite just because of how it looks and with the stand it can be posed in sooooooooooooo many different ways.

Jesus, sold out everywhere in 2 days

Ox Demon King is Goku's father-in-law, mostly in Dragon Ball and some DBZ.

Might need the Jada Street Fighter Alpha 3 Ryu 2.0. I like the art from that Alpha series.

There's an upcoming SHF Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing. If they make Amuro, Char, I may need to buy if the price isn't too crazy SHF high.

Saw they have a Lego Gameboy coming with 2 cartridges - but not Tetris due to licensing issues. Looks cool.

Also saw they announced a nearly 3000 piece Arkham Asylum. The first DC modular in forever.

My wallet weeps.

Speaking of, did you know they made official Pacific Rim off brand Lego Jaegers? I didn't need this information at 4 am. Gypsy and Stryker will be here by Monday.

This is the freaking base/stand for the one I'm working on (plus the badass spear).
