Hasbro Pulse - Skaar up for pre-order.

Looks good but not one I'll buy , not a character I know....

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on it too. I just don't like the character.

Now if it had more attachments like this one, I'd think REALLY hard about popping on it.

Yea, that looks epic . I have the Beta Ray Bill from Select, 2 of them actually, one sealed up , one opened..for the price they're damn good .

Yea, he is, I had to look him up . Not my era currently. Looks good as you said but not a knicker wetter for me.....
Skaar would fit in well with Ka-Zar. I still want to make Ka-Zar into He-Man even though I have the Mattel 40th Definitive He-Man unopened.

Does Skaar not have a good moral compass?

Does Skaar not have a good moral compass?

It's not that. It's just that in the Marvel universe it's either Wolverine, Deadpool, or they're trying to pigeonhole characters into the Wolverine/Deadpool mold.

I'm Wolverpooled out.

The other day on Amazon, I was looking at the Star Wars TVC figures of the new Acolyte characters and one third party seller/scalper was listing individual TVC figures that were probably still available for pre-order for $16.99 but his price was like $45 +34 shipping. Hard to tell if retarded or evil.

Possibly both....

I don't get why I can look in one online shop and figure X is like $10.00 , look in another and it's $28 , maybe at a slight premium to the RRP. Go back to the first shop and think I'll pick up another thing, item Y to justify shipping costs...that item Y is now $28 in the first shop but like $10 in the second shop....but this item Y seems to be in-stock everywhere cheaper... it's like did one of you buy 50 of this figure and need to get rid of it and two of the other figure or something?

I mean I'm happy for competition but it does make me scratch my head when an item very cheap in one shop is full price or close in another store still... and it's a common item - most places are selling off The Eternals figures cheap over here ( it's either that or give them away...) but one place still is selling them near full price - there's loads knocking around even with the BAF , no-one seems to want them at the discount price so why on earth would you be trying to sell them at full price or close enough...?

got a black series Vader (A New Hope) figure off the clearance shelf at Target today, prob because the box looked like a kid tried to open it or something. $14, not bad. it’s a quality figure, except he has tiny lil feets, so it doesn’t stand very well on its own in most poses

Maybe one place didn't get theirs direct from Hasbro but is trying to flip it after buying it dirt cheap from another store so must keep the price at full retail to make the flip profitable. I would appreciate if the bigger reputable retailers kept older stock still available at normal retail price since there were quite a few I wanted years after they came out and wasn't paying attention at the time.

Not too long ago, I saw many Hasbro figures, unwanted ones, for $5.99 but Amazon's discounted price was nowhere that low. I think at some point Hasbro gives them a discount on junk that won't sell.

Yea, that's possible I guess .

Went to a local Lego brick store yesterday. They didn't really have much of anything for sealed sets except one retired Batmobile that was really tempting, but if I'm spending $450.00 I'm going all in on the Avengers Tower.

The bulk brick tables were kinda cool though, and it was good to see some of the sets I had been looking at already put together just to get a feeling for the size when completed. Although I would never buy a set that was put together, what's the fun in that?

Was the store in L.A. by any chance?

Possibly an odd question, you ever find yourself in a zone when putting sets together? I've had folks at work watching me and after go " Wow , u were really gone there..." . Or it seems to flow and you keep getting the right bricks pretty much all the time...

Or am I odd...?

Ok, more odd than a 50+ year old putting Lego together.
