Social Toy Collectors Thread

I don't recall seeing anything I wanted to order on Walmart's collector con.

I did see Target will have an Optimus Prime as Target cargo truck.

I don't share this hobby, but i was in some comic book store in London i think, and next to it there was this connected shop with very well made...figurines i guess, but huge, like 3 feet tall, of all sorts of superheroes. among those, there was a very large one of the Alien mother from Aliens, was about 500 pounds, which would be around 600 dollars or more i think, but absolutely exquisitely made, not some plastic junk, looked almost sculpted in marble (it wasn't).

i'm still thinking about it.

Love Owlman, he's just a genius-level nihilist.

Word on the street is that this is the best Darth Vader helmet yet. Not for me but I thought it was worth a post.

12.6 inches (36cm) tall for this bad boy. Not my cup of tea but thought the thread might like it.

I'm surprised I knew that was a Hygogg. I play GBO2 everyday and some of their special battles require you to use randomly assigned mobile suits to recreate the cartoon battles.

It was like that with the linked arcade machines back in Japan too. I always chose the underwater role when I had the option and kept my butt planted in the sea.

One of the mecha (Evangelion) on sale at the IGN store.

Authentic S.H. Figuarts Spider-Punk (I didn't forget that one!;)) is up for preorder there also.

In GBO2 underwater, the water is too polluted and can barely see afar. There's one map in like a junkyard and raining and also hard to see afar.

I watched a youtube review of Gundam Universe Full Burnern and looked like parts and limbs fall off too easily. I thought these were to be more durable and to be toys not models.

Have you looked into Gundam Fix Figuration? They come complete with accessories and weapons in box.

Be aware that the metal composite figures can be QUITE expensive and they usually sell-out once they hit the market and I haven't seen a reissue of any figures ever in this line.

Never heard of those. Just saw an Amazon review saying antenna broke on first time playing with it.

I don't know what they were doing with it? I find mine to be pretty sturdy. If you're looking for sturdy, have you checked out the JoyToy line?

JoyToy (terrible name, I know) has a SHIPLOAD of Warhammer 40k mecha and figures. They also have a vast array of mecha and figures too.
