Bought one of the last Disney ToyBox Jango Fetts. Had tons of Darth Maul and Kylo Ren and discounted Rey. I guess I need to find Mando w/Baby Yoda to join Jango. Disney Store seems to be intent on making sure anyone who wants a Marvel Legends or Marvel Select Wasp gets to buy one in the next 20 yrs or so.

I've been hungry for G.I. Joe and bought a couple of updated MOTU, but zero desire to chase Transformers. I did locate my old cassettes of the black dog and maybe yellow lion. Don't remember the yellow lion's name or seeing it in the cartoon. I think I bought it from the local Japanese import store long ago that used to carry toys from Japan.

The cartoon was probably my favorite of the 80s, but the figures coming in different sizes and robot mode not being on par with the vehicle mode was a turn off from me, also they were more expensive I only got a few transformers (some of them knock offs) compared to the others.

I saw on a toy forum someone complaining their Futurama figures starting to melt and get sticky. My SSJ Goku (low POA) from the very first USA release is sticky too. Haven't checked my Namek Vegeta, Piccolo, Future Trunks from that same series.

ShopDisney lists what their ToyBox figures are made of and saw some weird plastic name I never heard of before. Googled and saw something formaldehyde and something about degrades in hot water.

I hope all these economic stimulus toy purchases aren't going to degrade in a few years.

From jedibusiness podcast, Target will have a Star Wars Black Series Commander Pyre (gold first order stormtrooper) with street date 10/25 and not announced yet. He said someone found it in store but blocked from purchasing due to street date.

Im not all that in to star wars but bought the new black series storm strooper.

I think l it looks amazing. The joints are hidden . No pins visible and still more posable than the old figures.

They should clearly state v2 or something like how Dragon Stars does when they re-engineer a figure. The only Stormtrooper Black Series I have is Luke in Stormtrooper armor and that sure sucks. Doesn't look right, some parts too skinny, doesn't stand right. May have bought it on clearance for $7 as my first Black Series.

I was browsing yojoe.com to look at the later releases to try to anticipate what they'll re-release as Retro and saw one of those last years maybe for comic-con they made a GI Joe of one guy from Visionaries, Rom Space Knight, and one guy from M.A.S.K. If I had a shot at buying those new at retail, I'd try to find/order them. [EDIT: Apparently these were 2017 SDCC. I wish I knew at the time to buy. Why would they invest in making these molds for just SDCC?]

Yeah, that particular story is about a lone soldier and his quest for revenge. If you want mecha vs. mecha, you'll need the source material.

Damn, those are nice! I’ll probably get the whole set. The comic was pretty good but it turned generic in the end. The design by Capullo was cool. Can’t wait to see Bane.

I saw something called Black Major, I think, and looks like 3rd party guy somehow re-issuing old G.I. Joes but in diff colors as if he possesses the original molds or remade the molds. Looks just like original G.I. Joes with Cobra logo. A podcast seemed to suggest Hasbro lost the molds in disaster and so doesn't care if 3rd party makes and sells original G.I. Joes.

So he is, never had one of those. I had the purple scuba guy with the webbed hand. I have some KO 5" Transformers due for delivery at the end of the month.

I saw a Star Wars fan site reported upcoming Star Wars Mandalorian Retro Collection Wave 3. Are these to be 5POA new molds of Mando characters or repaints of the Kenner 5POA?

There's also to be TVC Baby Yoda, which would be maybe 1.5cm tall.

I thought I wanted to buy the Target Black Series Commander Pyre, but not at $29.99, especially since it doesn't have a ton of extra accessories for that price. Maybe it'll stay in stock to be dropped to clearance price.

Leaning towards not buying Storm Thunderbird 2 pack. Storm's boobs were made too small and the face doesn't look right. I do feel like I need 1st appearance Storm for the Giant Sized X-Men and John Byrne glory days Uncanny X-Men. Maybe they'll re-release at some point soon like Gambit.

I dug through two more boxes and couldn't find the bulk of my old G.I. Joes, but did find I do have a Cassette Man/Soundwave, a bunch of mini cars like Cliffjumper and I forget the names of the others, a couple of Constructicons, one of each DBZ Burger King 1POA silver or gold figures. Found what I think is Zartan's swamp sled bike, and need to figure out either how to 3D print replacement handlebar or make one out of old plastic model kit sprues.
