G.I. Joe Retro finally reaching Walmart stores here, but wiped out in an instant... literally. I saw the "new" retro are a bit taller and skinnier than originals. Same metal T bar hips and same metal screw into inner thigh. I'm guessing those hips are gonna get puppet loose like the old originals.

Anyone have a collection of 80s/90s GI Joe toys? Friend gave me one for my birthday, still boxed. Still have the ones we played with when younger. Besides video games was probably our favourite toys when we were little. Living in New Zealand though would be impossible to collect for, easy/cheapish over the yankee doodle land?

Star Wars TVC ROTJ re-tooled Boba Fett pre-order now. Looks way better than old fashioned hinged hips earlier TVC where the helmet comes off and with helmet on, looks short and weird.

Passed again on Black Series ending credits color scheme Mando and no longer available it seems.

I'm in the process of digging out my old G.I. Joes and looking forward to finding out which ones I didn't give away like a damned fool. All will need at least new o-rings. The face sculpts are so crude, but I like the color applications more than the recent Retros where it looks like they tried not to use more than two colors. The Retro Snake Eyes knee caps are a separate piece that either goes on via friction or glue that came off. I'm guessing it was designed like that for better color separation without painting.

I'll probably try to buy it for $14.99 just to have a modern G.I. Joe game on modern console. I wonder if a movie game is in the pipeline.

Saw rumors of next Classified wave: Lady Jaye with Deluxe Snake Eyes' spear, Flint, Major Bludd. If Flint looks cool, that might be the only one I buy from that wave.

They are getting pretty expensive lately. Saw a BAT with the original hologram sticker and all the weapons going for $85 in facebook.

I saw something called Black Major, I think, and looks like 3rd party guy somehow re-issuing old G.I. Joes but in diff colors as if he possesses the original molds or remade the molds. Looks just like original G.I. Joes with Cobra logo. A podcast seemed to suggest Hasbro lost the molds in disaster and so doesn't care if 3rd party makes and sells original G.I. Joes.
