Social Toy Collectors Thread

I sold off about a quarter of my collection this past Thursday because of fears that we were going to need a bigger truck for our move to Arizona unless I did so. So, as much as it hurt me to do so, I parted with all my 18" McFarlane Movie Maniacs figures as well as my 12" Marvel Spider-man & Venom figures collection. I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted to for them but I made enough to provide a nice cushion for our moving expenses.

Might as well call it : The Incel Thread.

Hardly, dude.
It is entirely possible to nerd out over something without being an actual stereotypical nerd. And, that being said, not all nerds are incels. Far from it, in fact. I've got plenty of nerdy friends who are married.
I, myself, am married & happen to adore my wife. I'm as far from being an incel as one can possibly get.

I re-read Giant-Sized X-Men and there was an ad for 8" Marvel action figures for $3+ each. I think the costumes were fabric.

My fave

You know how I know?

Sam, we’re all already posting in the gayest sub forum on a message board dedicated to almost naked men getting in a cage and climbing all over each other for 3 to 5 rounds..

..not that there’s anything wrong with that

Anyways.. thinking about picking one of these bad boys up and setting him up in the front room..

I feel like having a fight demon chilling in my front room would be a great conversation starter. I’m sure my chick would feel the same..

Gotta throw Ryu into the mix to balance things out just in case that sumbitch comes to life and and starts tearing shit up in my crib tho..

i dont really collect toys because i sell what i get, but I have been selling Legos on ebay for a couple years now and I have had some epic stuff.

Most I have gotten for 1 minifigure was $25 for a spiderman from the 2000's films. Actually got like 4 of them, 3 green goblins, 3 mary janes, and a few others, all worth $20+ in a lot of random legos i bid on at a thrift store website, all for like $40 (was a 50 pound lego lot)

I've got a few. Not much of a hobby yet but I've always loved stuff from SideShow and finally have the money to throw away at a few things.

Not from SideShow but still pretty awesome, Michael Myers Mezco figure

Not as high end as the others but I also have a Jason figure from the NES game from NECA

That's pretty much it. Nothing has really caught my eye lately but I'm sure I'll add more over the years.

I'm seeing from today's SDCC coverage there's a new Marvel Legends Jean Grey 3 pack with Wolverine and jacket Cyclops and the Jean face sculp is quite foxy. Wolverine has regular claw hands and bone claw hands. I almost want to buy this, but prefer John Byrne Phoenix era Cyclops and Wolverine with regular claws and fist hands.

Boom.

I have 700+ NES games and many of the rarest ones ever made. Definitely some really cool ones.

I kinda like the color scheme of the tuning fork Boba Fett.

I recently bought the Black Series Archive Boba Fett and looks like someone tried to shoot him in the dick. Good thing he's wearing armor.

I really dig it. Colors work well together imo and it's not something you see all the time.

I'm a fan of alternative color schemes in general. Really interested in this Sith Trooper if they release it to the public.
