Social Toy Collectors Thread

My gawd.. My kids have 70 legends; the full Greg capullo line from a few years ago, and more random action figures than you can think of. I mean, name a character.

@GSP_37 Here’s what I mean about the Obi Wan and Luke(ROTJ) hilts from Disney Force FX being chunky

I took a pic of the Disney sabers and of the hilts from the custom builds. The custom builds are more screen accurate

The blades on the Disney ones are not removable, whereas the custom ones you can remove them

Anyway, thats only if you’re being really picky
Metal is better than plastic, but those kinda look like church decorations.

I have the Darth Vader Bladebuilders and the rectangular on/off button gets in the way and reminds me of really old fashioned flashlights. I do like how most of the blade glows in the dark. I've seen video reviews where the blue and green ones go dark around the tip segment.

Not long after I buy a Bladebuilders lightsaber for $18+, I see it for $9 clearance. I ended up also buying the Disney Store TLJ Rey blue lightsaber for $22. Very good price, very good bright glow visible in daylight. I saw videos say Rey's is actually Anakin's given to Luke.

I'm amazed how some people can tell the difference. I never paid such close attention when watching the movies aside from blade color.

You guys see this? Storm Collectibles Ultra Street Fighter. I've never seen this badass articulation before for Street Fighter.

No toy collection for me. The closest I have is leftovers from a table top superhero based miniatures game that I used to play/collect called Heroclix. At one point I had over 10k (yes 10k) of them. I still have several thousand of them, but haven't collected/played in 5+ years now, and sold off most of my good/expensive shit years ago.

I just got back into buying some Marvel Legends figures. If I really wanted to geek out I'd remove them from the box & pose them like the cover from my AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #101. But, I won't go that far.

I wish I would have bought those Django unchained action figures before they banned them. They're going for about $100 each on eBay now.

Yeah, I remember seeing those. I wish I had grabbed them too.
I'm glad that I collected all the UFC action figures when they came out about ten years ago because there are a few that have shot up in value as well.

I saw an article yesterday saying Hasbro is re-releasing the old 1970s Star Wars action figures in very similar packaging with simulated wear and tear on the cardboard. Interesting. I never did get the normal Luke Skywalker.

I prefer the nicer ones they released around the time of the prequels. Better likeness.

I suddenly have the urge to buy a Star Wars lightsaber but only if it has LED light up function. I don't care about the clashing sounds or quote sound clips. The thought of having a glowing lightsaber in the dark is appealing.

I kinda want to make an attachment to a regular LED flashlight.

please don't make it smell really stinky

I dropped 88 bucks + on this Mezco 1:12 Collective Punisher figure. This realism of the figure is pretty amazing. It goes for a pretty penny now.

I also have quite a few NECA horror figures like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13 th, Child's Play, IT 1990 and 2017,
Evil Dead 2, Terminator.

I've got a box somewhere full of the Roud 5 Pride and Ufc figures also.

I just threw away all my old Punisher comics....I had the first 20 issues, the war zone and etc...all that shit from the early 90s

Once I discovered my penis, toys never did anything for me anymore. But I do wish I had my Star Wars and Battlestar Gallactica stuff. I had some cool shot that they would never make anymore due to dancer. I had a launcher that shot Viper fighters 40 ft lol

LMAO, I don't want to know what you used to do with your toys to satisfy you before you discovered your penis.

Why not? I open and pose with every legends ive ever bought. They werent be worth more than 30bucks after years in storage in box. I rather open them.

1100$ at Sideshow and to be released in a few months.

Damn! It really looks sick though!

I can't say I collect toys, but I bought these Mezco Mortal Kombat figures a little while ago.

And the bloody version because it was on sale.

They really weren't that expensive and they are very detailed , accurate and anatomically correct and I needed something to satisfy my MK craving in the lead up to the new game's release. Also got this funko pop.

Also bought some model toy cars a few years ago. They were pretty cheap too and looked really nice and were also really true to the real cars. My 2 year old nephew was here for my bday and I didn't really have any toys for him till I remembered those cars. He almost had his first orgasm when he saw them, LMAO. He was jumping up and down before he even touched them. Not all cars survived the onslaught of his enthusiastic play style, but it was well worth it just to see him having so much fun.
Now I bought him even nicer toy cars for his next bday and I kinda hate that I'll have to give them away. I would have murdered someone to get such toys when I was a kid.
