I wonder if Dana has any idea.Striker vs grappler fight
FYI Finney was the substitute for TUF and didn't take fights because of that

He should have been signed after his first win and the pay for Contender Series is ridiculous. Why does getting a third chance on the contender suck for Finney?
Poor fucker is gonna be a gatekeeper on the contender series until Dana decides he’s good enough

He's actually 5'4. I did some sleuthing and made a post about him last week. He's like 5'5 tall at middleweight, keep bringing him back it's very entertaining.![]()
Follow up post: the very next winner, Cortavious Romious, had the exact same height discrepancy as Finney when standing next to Laura Sanko. Romious is 5'4. I think we have a record folks. Deron Winn is no longer the shortest middleweight. Lol at Finney adding 4 inches to his height. Guy is cutting more height than Carwin.
No clue. They have a bunch of guys coming back from last season. Imo at least 2 seasons should pass before they bring someone back and they should have to win at least 3 fights in that time period. At the regional level they should not be fighting only once a year. What's the point?
> Why do some fighters (and horrible ones like that) get so many opportunities, so many chances? With so many fighters in the world?
Can someone explain?
Contender should call the repeater...

Because Dana is such a turd, that even if/when Finney wins again, he's still going to have to sit there and suffer through Dana's buffoonery again at the end of the show, after (most likely) being forced to give a pride-swallowing, grovelling, and totally unnecessary post fight interview begging the Wormbeast for a 12/12 contract only to get shit on again. Even if he does finally get signed, Dana will act like he's doing it reluctantly, once again embarrassing this poor manlet on a live broadcast for his own sick pleasure.
That honestly sucks for Finney I think he is a good prospect who has room to develop and should be in the UFC, he’s also jacked as fuck and has a marketable look.
When you look at the lower end of MW it is not good fighters either, I’m pretty sure he could beat fighters like Dumas/Brundage no problem while developing his skills.
Damn. Sounds like Finney should try the PFL for the 1 million. Loughran and Impa are about to win another 1 mil.
PFL's finals this year are absolute dogshit. If Finney went over to PFL next year, it would be probably some short-notice no-camp replacement fight that only benefits some boring Russian blanket that they're trying to secure a playoff spot for. He would never get enough points to make it that far because PFL's structure is fucking stupid.
Well damn, looks like he shouldn't have got into MMA knowing full well what the shit pay is like?
Brundage is an awful matchup for him. I'd be all in on Brundage there.
Thats settled then. If Cody Brundage is an awful matchup for you, you are 200% NOT worthy of a go in the UFC. Everyone's time is being wasted here.
lmao, that's the litmus test from now on
"how do we think this guy would do against Brundage..."
