Lol thats a good story. Did you get in trouble for it at all?
Lol no. Student teachers always want to fit in and I think he was to stunned to punish me.

I actually feel bad about this but we had a student teacher from NY who went on a little rant about how NYC was better than Philly.
So I raised my hand and said "Yeah well at least our buildings don't fall down." This was a year after 9/11 and he was visibly upset.
Everyonegasped except one kid who started laughing uncontrollably. Ironically he ended up in the Secret Service.
Par for the course. Secret service are a bunch of assholes. Their agency is third rate. One of the worst fed agencies to work for.
My friends and I believe that a buddy of ours is legitimately insane. We have since cut all ties with this guy. Here are just a few things he's done:
I went to Catholic school from 1st through 8th grade, then I went to public high school while all of my buddies went to the Catholic high school. In 9th grade, he replaced a nun's eye drops with hydrogen peroxide. She had to be rushed to the ER and is blind in one eye from it.
In 10th grade he supposedly had sex with a local retarded girl and tried to choke her to death. No one was there to witness this, it only came to light after he tried to run her over with his car and he missed weeks later.
During that crazy out of hand Mardi Gras that happened on South Street in Philly some years back, he lit another friend of mine on fire. They were just walking and he lit his coat on fire and didn't say anything, just stood there as my buddy's coat just went the fuck up and he was screaming. He stopped, dropped, and rolled and luckily wasn't hurt severely.
In college, same buddy that got lit on fire, dude stops in front of his house at 4AM in his car. My parent's live right around the corner. Dude just starts smoking his fucking tires and honking his horn for a good 5 minutes until the whole neighborhood is awake and pissed and then peels out.

Jesus... is he in jail now?
Even the ones that protect the President?
Had a spanish teacher in highschool that would joke around with the class all the time. She was pretty hot and a lot of the guys would kind flirt with her and she would laugh it off and even go along with it do a degree etc. There were a lot of somewhat loud 'class clown' type kids in that class, so we screwed around a lot, but she never seemed to get upset or frustrated, she would joke around and have fun too. Then one day we're reading aloud from the book, someone makes a joke about the story we're reading, and she walks from the front of the class to her desk at the back and sits down and starts crying, and doesnt say a word the rest of the class. Everyone just kind of sat their in awkward silence not knowing what was going on. Then the next day when we came in she had an article about students harassing teachers and the mental trauma it causes on the overhead projector. Class was totally different after that day, she didnt put up with any more joking around and failed a few of the students.
Douchebags. All of them. The managers are even worse.
Just recently there was a tac team not regular agents. These guys are supposed to be the quick response team, in the Netherlands. The CAT leader or whatever they are calling them got drunk and got lost in the hotel. It made news. The guy was drunk. The president wasn't even there yet. They sent that guy home, along with a few other guys that were with him. Discipline him yes. You know what, they sent him home so it diminished their quick response team by like 2 or 3. Is that smart? They can't get a replacement that quickly. They diminished the "experts"
Another saying that the secret service have is do more with less. This means they don't budget properly. They are responsible for protecting the president and they want to do more with less? Is that good? Why don't you get your shit together, not higher 1000 supervisors for 800 agents (exaggeration on my part) at gs14 pay and do more with more. We are lucky that no one has really attempted our presidents life. I think that the SS would fail miserably. One thing they do do is take any threat seriously. They do investigate any and all threats.
