I feel like Topuria is going to be in some weird limbo for longer than we think. Most top LWs probably don't want to be his introductory fight, he doesn't want someone lower ranked, and Islam has seemingly no interest in adding another FW scalp because even he sees it's affecting his legacy even though he's at this point most people's consensus LW GOAT outside of a few diehard Gomi and BJ fans.

Wonder how all of this plays out. If Topuria fought Islam and lost where does he go from there?

He even copied Conors tattoos which is where I thought it was weird. Can understand fighters trying to emulate the attention seeking personality, but ink on your skin copying another man is a little weird to me personally. Nothing wrong with trying to copy the thing that could sell 2 mil PPVs though.
