I would favor Arman also.

But not only for his wrestling, but because his gastank and his pressure type of wrestling. I think Ilia would stop most takedowns in early rounds(2 rounds); after that would be a hard night.

In a 3 round fight, i would favor Topuria, but in 5 round i think Arman can impose this problem.

After the Khamzat performance, especially with Arman being the one urging him to blanket DDP, I think Arman will never get a title shot as long as Topuria is champion.

But Topuria is a warrior. If Arman wins a big fight with a good performance, I could see Topuria call him out anyway.

I think he was initially calling out Arman before the Paddy walk in happened and stopped his speech, iirc.

I'm sure people won't agree but I think Arman is a little overrated. His best win is obviously Charles and that was a SD and his next best win is Dariush. Beneil is a good fighter but we all know he is very vulnerable. After fighting Islam he had a pretty easy road. He's obviously a student but the resume is a little overrated.
