Arman is Christian though, he's not Muslim. I think Khabib wants to see the fight because then he can gauge how good is Topuria's grappling really. If Topuria easily handles Arman's grappling, Khabib will make sure Islam never takes a Topuria fight. If Topuria wins but struggles with the grappling, then Khabib thinks Islam still should be favoured. Khabib has a ton of sway & influence on Islam's career choices
