volk is very allround, has good tdd and good takedowns and amazing defensive grappling. but he was always a grinder on the feet. he has good footwork and is difficult to read but topiura has patience and insane power. this has got to to be in volks head. i wonder if volk will be more hesitant and not so fluid in a rematch.

not sure if volk needs a new game plan to deal with ilia's skills/strengths or if he needs to fight a similar fight (and of course not get kto to reach the later rounds). it must be hard to lose to a guy that said he would run through him in the first or second round and really did it.
