you forgot feijao e leo santos two of the best bjjers ever (both much superior in BJJ then bj penn, matt serra, daniel moraes, ,rolls, etc) , plus I didnt see thales leite there, and shembri wasn't a meio pesado when he did BJJ compt

saying that if you putt "old timers" like romero cavalcantti yould put dede pederneiras e wendell alexandre. I would even put jair "lobo mau" lourenco in there, but I am biased :)

from all these guys that you left out, I guess you are not a NU fan...

You're right. I missed some of the names you mentioned. I did mention Thalles Leite. He caught my eye when he was a brown belt. Yes Nino did compete at a lighter weight. Very attentive I see. I have nothing against NU, I just sport the GB flag.

sakufan, Definitely great list. I don't know were you went to research team names, weights and such, but it's great to see them.

Just so you know Cassio Werneck is Brazilian Top Team. We, his students are Wernecks World Class Jiu-jitsu. I do believe that there is another team called World Jiu-jitsu.

I'm not trying to nitpick, just thought your list was great and worth saving and wanted your info correct on the one I do actually know about. :)

It's allright, I guess if it was me doing the list I would pop in a few \nu guys more than I woulg GB's :)

i like my BJJ school a lot, because we have good black belts come out. we had xande a few weeks ago. rosendo diaz will be here tomorrow. Royler and David Adiv both come out on occasion. It's pretty sweet.

At Rickson's school in LA, we had quite a few big names coming in, around the time of Rickson's "Budo" tournament a couple months back. Xande, Marcio Feitosa, Damien Maia and others stopped by for a bit. It's hard to work in for a roll with these guys, as so many upper belts tend to roll with them predominantly.

I've rolled with Rickson and Rany Yahrya within the last year, but not too many other big names.

still nobody mentions... eddie bravo!
the guy has tons of unusual techniques!

Fowler is good but he's not there yet. Same goes for Glover. Gregor Rangel, a brown belt from Tean Renzo Gracie submitted Fowler rather smoothly after taking him down, passing guard and mounting him, and controlling the entire match.

cant believe Marcio Feitosa isnt getting any love. Look out for kyron gracie..he's going to be amazing in the next few years. As for Jeff Glover, the guy has so much talent, but he's a little cock. Great grappler and entertaining to watch but not one of the best in the world...but maybe someday

Its all about Jacare, Marcelo Garcia, and Roger Gracie of course...ALONG with my WOMAN...Kyra Gracie...Oh she makes me melt :)

JJ Machado
Roger Gracie
