Top 10 Heavyweights ever

the same draft kings add 5 times in less than 10 minutes, ufc must be hurting for advertising partners.

Fedor won 0 titles outside doping free countries...Arona won that fight and the middleweight Hendo defeated the russian.
He is out of top 10.

My top 5 :

1) Cormier with two titles in two different weights classes.
2) Velasquez
3) Miocic
4) Couture, a champion over 40...
5) Werdum

Bigfoot wasnever scary. TET or not. DC and Cain obliterated him abd Reem was pounding him til gassing

Mir, SEMMY (???) and Sylvia...

No DC or Francis

Randy is like 16-8 for his career
I think both DC and Ngannou proved to little. Great fightere, but far from hw goats. DC tok the easy route and used hus amazing weight cutting ability to fight smaller guys to avoid the top HWs for a long time. Ngannou might be a top 10 later if he keeps on winning, but he has some holes.
Semmy is amazing. If the money was in mma, and he kept on fighting, he would have been top 5 Goat. Without the upper weight limit, prime Semmy would have been champ in todays division.

Fedor was only ever takendown by stronger guys largelly. At LHW he would of been as strong roughly. Could Cormier get him down no doubt but to keep the Judo Sambo elite down? No way and Cormier striking is vastly inferior.

Matt lindland, coleman, randleman and Arona all got fedor down

Replace Couture with Mir

- 2 UFC titles
- Wins include Big Nog x2, Lesnar, Sylvia, Cro Cop, Kongo, Nelson x2,
- Killed the Todd Duffee hype train
- Has in my opinion, the greatest comeback of all time against Big Nog
- Fought literally every legit HW in his era

Curious about your orders

1. Stipe- Most title defenses, two time champ, beat the best opposition
2. Fedor- Undefeated for almost a decade, against the top heavies at the time
3. Cain- two time champ, utterly mauled everyone he beat
4. Big Nog- beat a who's who, and remained competitive for years
5. Cro Cop- Smashed everyone in his early days not named Fedor or Nog (ok, and Kev)
6. Werdum- Beat the best guys (Cain, Fedor) but was inconsistent
7. Ngannou- Smashy
8. Cormier- Amazing fighter. Beat Stipe. Didn't have enough high quality opposition wins to be top 5
9, JDS- Probably the most historical early run, great champ
10. Couture- 3 time champ, didn't face the toughest opposition, but they were the toughest at that time
Honorables to Coleman, Overeem and Sylvia

I like your list and reasoning

Fedor should be 1, and it isn't really close.

One of my Unpopular MMA Opinions is: however significant Overeem’s Strikeforce and DREAM titles are, Fedor’s WAMMA title should be viewed as at least equivalent.

Fedor had, in one continuous unbeaten streak:
  • Title win over Nog (PRIDE)
  • Defense over Nog (PRIDE)
  • Defense over Mirko (PRIDE)
  • Defense over Hunt (PRIDE)
  • Title win over Sylvia (WAMMA)
  • Defense over Arlovski (WAMMA)
  • Defense over Rogers (WAMMA)
Stipe had (all UFC, obviously)
  • Title win over Werdum
  • Defense over Overeem
  • Defense over JDS
  • Defense over Ngannou
*defeated by DC
  • Title win over DC
  • Defense against DC
The WAMMA belt is not as prestigious as the PRIDE or UFC belts obviously, but I think Fedor won & defended against better competition overall (relative to where the opponents were in their careers), he has more overall title fight wins and more overall defenses, in one continuous unbeaten streak.
Fedor > Stipe

You have a really great way of putting this shit into context sir.

I mean that interim title win was over Big Nog tho lol.

Other than Arlovski and Rodriguez, Sylvia had very little in the way of meaningful wins.
Timmy always deserves an honorable mention. He achieved the most with the least amount of skill. What was he good at? His wrestling was poor, his striking was average, etc.
To be clear, I’m not trying to fighter bash him or put him down, he just didn’t have much skill but still won the belt twice.
War Timmy!

Talks about disqualifying the greatest ever cause he fought in doping friendly countries. Then nominates juice man Randy couture to list? Lol ok

btw since you don’t really follow the sport. Fedor knocked out the best ever ufc Hws in Timmeh and AA in a familiar country

Wow

Semmy never beat a quality HW

I'm fascinated by your post.

DC won and defended the HW title.

Decent list, but I would not have Couture in the top 10, beating Big Tim doesn’t really qualify you to enter the top 10. Overeem would have easily smashed Couture, though Overeem has always been very inconsistent - on great nights, he’s easily top 5 of all time, on bad nights not even to 20.

I would also put Stipe way lower, he’s got a great CV but I think Cain had far more impressive and dominant wins. He made a huge mistake against Werdum and got clobbered by Ngannou, but he was never allowed to rematch them. If he rematched Werdum I’d expect him to win a decision or by TKO. Ngannou would be tricker though - Cain has always been chin my and I think Ngannou’s power would be too much for Cain, sooner or letter he’d get slept.

Semmy is the grestest striker to ever live, and like with Cain, the potential was great.

DC was very impressive that a guy that old, that had a physique of a dart player could compete in mma. He was Fun to Watch, and always went out in full speed, but to be honest, him beating Stipe was pretty much like Serra beat GSP..

After watching a lot of Nogs fights.

1. He was a good submission grappler
2. His power was weak for a HW
3. Good chin
4. Striking was good but not top tier

Fascinating

Semmy had 40 mma fights dude.I think he showed whatever potential he had lol.

LMAO at greatest striker ever.

He lost to every elite HW he ever fought

Gosh, how do you guys put Ngannou on a top 10 HW list?
Ngannou has some highreel KOs, but in this first title shot he gassed miserably in 2 minutes flat, and after winning the belt his only defense so far was a stinker of a fight and among the worst HW title fights ever.
