I think people forget RDA was even champ. Had a really small run, and only defended against Cerrone. Too bad too, was such a great fighter for a little while there.

Too bad he got injured before the Conor fight, may have saved us some headache.
 
JBJ vs Shogun is #1

JBJ basically did everything you can do to a man in an MMA fight to Shogun. Jones won that fight via submission and TKO at the same time.

Mostly a master class in Alvarez continually circling into Conor's power punches even after he kept getting hurt by them. It's like Alvarez had never heard of a lefty fighter and didn't realize that trying to circle into his own power shots just set up Conor's, which, with a big reach advantage, Conor kept landing before Eddie could get anything off. Amazing fight-IQ by Eddie for all the wrong reasons.

In terms of career-altering damage this is one of the worst, Chris had years taken off his life thanks to that wheel kick and his corner not throwing in the towel

Wasn't that much of a mauling but it was very apparent Brock out muscled Handy so much he wouldn't be able to do anything, then the KD and the short elbows but not really a mauling imo

My wife watched this fight live with me, she hates fighting, and shes got no idea about ufc names and shit.

I toldher nothing before the fight, as i wanted genuine reactions. I do remember something like

"this is so brutal. Is this blondie really a professional fighter? She looks like a school kid being bullied, i feel so sorry for her"

Ronda wasn't the champ. So it doesn't fit for this topic.
 
DDP vs Chimaev wasn't mauling.
It was domination and pretty much onesided wrestling match.
But you can't call it mauling.
Mauling imply damage and the only dmg Khamzat inflictied, was towards the eyes of viewers.
