Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 - Official Thread

Is it just me or am I the only one getting a LOT more clothing items and camo sprays post patch?
 
Got an alpha roll on upgrading my GS 440 Liberty, the sidearm exotic. Now hits for 63K DMG and landed at GS 5 even. Imagine what the 500% DMG buff does to the chest now… I really needed the nod here from lady luck, I have to tell you guys. I'd had an unlucky couple days with drops and also losing some firefights I should have won; I grew greedy and deserved to be put down. I'd also found out in-field that if you acquire a second of an exotic, it simply voids upon intake and one takes home – wait for it, nothing; meaning, make #1 need be out of your inventory and stashed or then on char 2. I was wanting their deconstruction for exotic components. Don't make the mistake I had if a farming ye shall go.
 
I cut these out of a larger PDF put together by some dedicated agents the world over. With builds in mind, Squirrely's wanting to optimise but feeling a bit lost motivated me to carry a facilitative tool over to the Community toolbox here.

Hope this helps narrow down what anyone needs set- or piece-wise by narrowing down what one on the fly need watch for, pick up or junk, and then move on from. Perfecting your build is primarily a product of patience and awareness; if you wouldn't fight halfheartedly, why kit up only so?

Be the guy who carries another – or even a team; don't be the one need carrying. #dawgstandard

Also, for fellow riflemen, invest in accuracy only on MMRs; one should otherwise be across-the-board exploiting available mods for stability. I think it a common misconception that all rifles were created equal. :p
 
I've got 10/12 hunter masks. The phantom hunter ran off like a bitch.

Thanks dude, I’ve improved I’m now world tier 5 going and getting way better with my frogs and head shots. Just need better gear, and I’m figuring out my build, if I lay a clip from my rifle and get headshots the enemy is going down.
If I’m in a group I tend to be the tank and and lay down the law with my LMG or Assault rifle.
I’ve gotten a few exotic parts, but now I’m YT to figure out how to get the rest and what one I really wanna start the grind on.
I also started getting those aqua pieces of equipment, the ones that drop from the boss’s.
So I’m not that bad anymore lol, I tend to be one of the last few standing when it comes to group missions .
I haven’t messed with the DZ lately either

Me and two others took down 3 hunters at once. The fourth one ran off like a bitch. Which sucks because his mask is the coolest.

Same and the boat I'm in now. I want the ivory-locked case at Base very badly. :D

To keep the game fresh, I'm now on my fourth official build – which I've named Patriot III: The Price.

It's a True Patriot, AR exotic build that I've sacrificed almost 100K of armour on (I know - yikes!) but have now more than 100K HP and some cool perks unique to the set; DMG output and crit luck have moreover ballooned compared to past builds. I'm still battle-shy with this getup as I'd only finished the build last night (after a day and half of grind and tweak), but I'm going to get absolutely filthy with it tonight. I have a prediction that I'll be melting faster while similarly getting melted.

Ah. The Glass Cannon build.
 
Even though I haven't hit WT 5 yet, I was really jonesing for a hunter mask so I rolled the dice and went in hard!

I took on the one mission with the hunter at the lightbulb that had to be done in the dark down a little ways from the Lincoln memorial. I had hit the switch and went to the spawn point. I saw the lightbulb and there were 5 True Sons ON THE PERCH! I shot the bulb and poof! A wild Hunter appears!

The True Sons went after the Hunter like wet hornets! I laid back in the cut and tagged him with my Paratrooper SVD (thanks to @PRIDEWASBETTER for the gift!), took him down and I wasted the True Sons. I grabbed the mask and called it a night!

Isn't that the Ghoul mask? That one's pretty nice! Good shit, man!
