Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 - Official Thread

Unless presently a GS 490+ you'll fast outlevel any exotics dropped; they're also only meaningful in number. One is tissue and outperformed by a simple Alps Summit armament. I'd really chill until that point plateau if not yet there. My stash is filled with mint-green loot that hasn't any use to me; I've ran TB four times now, FWIW. If you wish for a quick gear grab, match for and hit up Conflict; the caches are good, in my experience. Territory Controls are other detours worth your while.

Good luck, of course, if you run TB tonight; nothing on Story is that rough so be positionally aware of your six, pair off at no-respawn points, and it's a done deal.
I’ll check tonight for my power and post it. I’m not that high maybe 400 but probably less . I’m at work so I’ll check when I get home.
That and I wanna do some DZ I heard you get decent loot that way.

Extract from the day's occupied zone if you want the best returns. You can't lone-wolf that though with much success. Posse up first as your loot and level are on the line; if you matchmake for a group of three as a fourth, they might buddy with you for landmarks or disrupting patrols and then break pact at extraction, gunning you down for your carry, bragging rights, or whatnot. Watch for which of the three has shield mech and make a mental note before extraction; he'll be the likely candidate to assail you.

Look rather to pact in-field (bypassing matchmaking) while in cover together, for instance, as that's bond. Waiting outside a hotzone for a down and then scurrying in to revive agent is a surefire way to make a fast friend, too; just deploy healing mech before lunging in so you can absorb incoming fire while bringing back to life. All that being said, I mentioned Conflict and Territory Controls specifically for this reason – soloable and relatively quick. Lots of meta and mind games if you want to run DZ game. Do you but if I can ease a brother's journey, that makes my day.

I appreciate the advice, it’s why I’ve been posting in the thread. I need the tips and advice, my toon is weak and I need to get stronger.
As for the territory and PVP i tend not to do it cause it’s not my cup of tea . I can usually find a group to join if I venture into the DZ.
I just realized how handy the drone healer guy is due to someone actually recommending it

Listen, knowing where or how to get knowledge can be as wise as having it. You're doing just fine, my friend.

One thing jumping out at me is your rifle, AR, LMG mashup. Those have starkly little to no interplay; meaning, you're likely missing out on DMG-buffs (stacking) to the tune of 5-35%. What class (weapon) feels best to you? And when a one-man army, are you most effective at or comfortable with (1) adapting to enemy lines and breakaways, or (2) managing distance and environment? Also, your specialisation, please.

I was getting melted when playing with friends in their world, but I was tanking like hell in mine. What the hell? lol

Looks like the patch helped players a little by reducing damage output of NPCs.

Going to try and clear out the section around the campus post-patch! :)

See and I wouldn’t even thought of those small buffs stacking on each other, so thanks for letting in on that lol.
My rifle I like because of the high damage and accuracy , my aim is still bad but the accuracy mods I throw on it at least help with that lol.
I prefer sniping and taking enemies out at a distance if I play solo, if I’m in a group I’m either the one pushing the line with my LMG and turret while my drone heals my armor.

Right now my specialization is sharpshooter which I barely use my sniper rifle perk cause my rifle is alright in my eyes lol, but maybe not.

I just unlocked world tier 4 so I’m trying to do bounties to get some higher gear, someone here suggested I do that , and it’s worked out awesomely

Are you on Xbox or PS4?

*waits for cross platform play
We’re going to be waiting a while on cross-platform play from Sony.
From I’ve heard Sony doesn’t like the idea and wants exclusivity with their brand etc etc.
which I find sucks lol

Hahaha yeah I've heard that. Didn't they allow that on Rocket League, though? It was some game. I can't remember.

Never played Rocket League, heard about it but it never caught my interest.
Maybe they did cause it was a smaller title?

Has anybody else come across invincible players in the DZ? I had a dude smoke me and take my shit, then after I respawned and caught up to him while he was rogue he was totally invulnerable. I was literally dumping assault rifle mags into the guy while walked up to me, did some stupid dance, and ran off. Unbelievably frustrating from a game I've found mostly enjoyable so far.

Stalking disavowals and corking manhunts to cancel out their bounties have proven session musts for me even after 30-ish days of consecutive play but in thinking back, I'm not remembering a single encounter where I could test that – as it's always been quick flurries and someone's down or then a street end vs. street end, 4x4 affair that goes on for 10 minutes.

The guy emoting face to face while you're firing is a categorical red flag, I agree, and sounds foul. Sorry you'd experienced that; player is a coward. You catch his gt?

On a related note, nothing irks me more than the slow clap over my corpse upon defeat, ha. It's played out but gets to me nonetheless, I admit.
