Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 - Official Thread

It was me. I'm only level 12 right now I feel like everybody else is ahead of me. I like playing this game better when I call for help.
Im only level 12 too, no worries.

If we can get two more we get clan goals and rewards and stuff, we can all still solo while accomplishing them i think

Damn.

I'll start one for Xbox players in the morning.

Here, if you want to maintain uniformity between Sherdog clans

Anyone else realize you can re-loot the Supply Rooms at control points? The big yellow box doesn’t refill but the other ones do

I'm a sniping God in this game. Mechanically it feels like a cross between pubg and csgo, and flick shots with the snipers feel very natural to me.

Feels like a winning lottery ticket every time, no? Especially the weapon cases.

Endgame DC changes quite a bit and I miss the original setting. I'm 30+ and have beat the game as of a couple days ago; I wish I would have known, ha. Still having a blast though. Looted a high-end shotgun today that hits for 43K. One word, gentlemen – BOOM.

Recalibration is too costly given the rapid change to loadout and gear, in my opinion. I was breaking the bank tweaking x and y previously. Now I just loot, mod, and roll.

Minor spoiler about hidden mission:

If anyone fancies a WWII kit (head-to-toe uniform; no modification allowed) that looks really classy, seek out a hidden mission in Foggy Bottom called Navy Hill. It's near to the safehouse in an underground area and the woman (a cryptologist, I presume) will beckon you to approach.

I was exploring while looking for Shade and stumbled onto it. The holster especially looks sexy as hell if your sidepiece is a sawn shotgun. And the mission shouldn't take you longer than 25 mins; it proved one of my favourites of the entire game for atmosphere.

How do i up my skill power? I have attachments that require skill levels in the hundreds despite me only having...
a 13? I try to focus on skill based gear, reduced cooldowns and increased duration and such but dont see anything about skill power

Dumb question here, I got this game with buddies and we are all the same lvl but it’s hard to find time for all 4 of us so can I solo/progress further into the game and still join them without it causing the enemies to scale for them?

Or are there any problems I should be aware of if I do that?

Which variant you finding success with, Strych?

When I run solo, I use the stingers on the hive for area denial and either a turret for an extra gun (regular) or the armor repair drone so I can tank my flank. :)

It looks like getting new gear with higher skill power is the only way. It seems they don't want you uploading the items too early which I kind of feel makes sense since a firefly and turret are a great offensive teammate

The enemies but also your lower level teammates will scale up to the highest persons level. They might not have great gear but the scaling should allow them to fight things and not be useless.

ROKKO hit the nail on the head, M.

I'm acquiring gear now at lvl 30+ that come with Skill power attributes of 3-500 virtually apiece. Iirc, the 4-500 cumulative range is the minimal threshold for worn or standard Skill mods so if you're close, try also skimming your Gear mods because some have as well (albeit paltry) Skill power bumps in case you'd overlooked those; TBT, I reckon around lvl 23 was for me when Skill mods became 'accessible'. I'm a fan of Duration too as well as self-repair mods so if taking fire, heal and live a spell longer. My friend has a Skill power level in the thousands (4200?) right now or thereabouts so in a word, it's coming. I'm not where I want to be either.

The high-end Skill mods (gold-barred) are boss and can be transformative; on my drone, I have Striker programmed in slot 2 for 20% damage increase; it's saved my life on many an occasion, no question. Apparently, Firefly and Hive can get fruitful 2.0 versions with available mods if you're willing to put the work in but I'm not as familiar with those tools. Turret var. Incinerator and Chem launcher var. Firestarter have over time become like adopted children to me, aayy.

On a related note, the gear and all respective talents, attributes, brand/set perks, offensive/defensive/general mod slots et cetera are overwhelming to harmonise at higher levels. If you change out one piece of gear, whatever build you were rocking is now likely defunct. It sucks and I'm constantly stopping what I'm doing to rebalance myself or then re-perk with a plan-B on the fly. All things being equal, they might rework the Skill system or lower its barrier-to-entry in an update because it does seem a bit imbalanced.

Sorry for length.
