Asserts Tito is underrated, then goes on to make a bunch of excuses for his losses.
I think people can generally separate their dislike for Tito from his mma career.
Who is the other 5?I have him as the #6 LHW of all time
Who is the other 5?
I know Ken gets shit on for that all the time, rightly so. But am I the only one who thought the "living death" thing was kinda cool? It made no sense, we all knew Ken was dumb as fuck. But it was so WWF. If Ken would have won, everyone would think it was awesome. Or maybe not.He also beat the world's most dangerous man Ken Shamrock 3 times into living death
That's respectable.. now shogun due to achievement or potential? Not that I disagree just curious why he is ahead of titoJones, Wanderlei, Chuck, Rampage, Shogun

I don’t think Tito would’ve beaten the Dan Henderson that Shogun put on a timeless classic of a fight with, either.I think his wins were better than Tito's. Beating Rampage, Lyoto, Lil Nog, Arona, Overeem, Forrest, and Chuck isvery impressive
I don't know what you remember, but he was just as incoherent and retarded back then as he is now. His best moment was just laughing at Ken at the press conference where he didn't say anything.Tito is one of the grandfathers of trash talk in mma

UFC 40 was historically the first event that showed that the sport could possibly hit the heights of mainstream. It was the first one that got some decent coverage from the media.Tito and Ken shamrock literally saved North American mma during the dark ages. They were the biggest ppv draws around.
He definitely was never the best lightheavy weight of his time, but in truth, neither was Chuck. He was a monster for his era but he was never the best LHW in the world. I appreciate him for building the LHW division. He's such an important part in UFC history.
