Why is it James Cameron's responsibility to clear the air and is he really going to be taken as the voice of authority when arms of the government and such are reporting banging noises every 30 minutes and no reports of and possibly dives for the wreckage from last known coordinates until the oxygen window runs out.

Just a quick note for everyone piling on about the use of a game controller - a significant number of military pilots use game controllers for their unmanned craft. The two biggest reasons are 1) that's what the kids these days are used to, and 2) they work exceptionally well for that task.

The companies that make them have also probably put more time and effort in to there design as well.

Everyone knows that military use game controllers for those reasons, but the military has specifically adapted those controllers professionally to work with such unnamed aircraft. That is why nobody is talking shit about the military using gaming controllers.
