I figured out what's going on here-this Dana White is from a reality in which champs dont pick/choose/duck other fighters. Our Dana White must have gotten caught in some kind of wormhole and switched realities. Right now he's in a different dimension trying to convince everyone Connor's next fight should be Mendes or something.
 
Maybe Dana would treat Conor the same way if he weren’t an absoute cash cow, disappeared from the sport for 4 years and had a history of point fighting.

This isn’t rocket science, folks.

Dana White is a fan of the sport and when he tells it like it is he makes it obvious.

Oh really? So it's got nothing to do with GSP being one of the UFC's biggest draws?

That "fan of the sport" cancelled Mark Hunt's fight and told him to go get tested by doctors for brain damage. "Sometimes we have to protect these guys from themselves" he said. Then at the next event you had Diego Sanchez fighting Matt Brown. And Matt Brown by the way also said he's been slurring his words and forgetting stuff. Not to mention Arlovski and more recently Bisping.

Dana is full of shit, all about the money and an embarrassment for everybody. Fuck that guy
 
Dana is a lot like Donald Trump in that he'll say whatever he wants at the moment to make himself look good/make someone else look bad/absolve responsibility with no thought towards optics, long-term strategy or internal consistency.

You may admire that bold-faced BS but I think it makes you an untrustworthy douche.

I don't think so. If GSP has fights on his contract he can't fight anywhere else and I don't think Dana has to give him another fight. Other than that, I don't think he has any recourse.
 
Dana is actually the one at fault.

He gave him the opportunity to take the MW belt without defending it.
