• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

Social Things you use to love to participate often, but now you find boring.

Video games as well. I'll still occasionally play but I haven't started hard mode on FF7 Rebirth since beating that last Spring.

Traveling. Airports and airlines are a pain in the ass, lodging and food is expensive and frequently overrated.

the one that i'm disappointed in myself for is reading long novels. i used to read longer novels way more when i was younger. with all the options today to entertain you, it can be hard to sit there for hours and read just one thing.
The vast vast majority of books I pick up I do not get all the way through. I don't consider this a bad thing. There's just so much content, and we only have so much time.

Watching sports in general just doesn't do it for me like it used to. Most sports have changed for the worse IMO. Maybe that has more to do with me getting older. Our attention spans are being screwed by social media as well. We find ourselves searching for quick dopamine rushes so it's getting harder to do any certain task for an extended period.

Watching most pro sports is trash.

Watching your kids play little league baseball and hockey is where the good shit is.

Well, of course, but that isn't really about sports. That's about teaching your kids to interact with others with respect and learning how to win and lose with composure. Glad you're living your best life, brother.

Movies and TV. I cut down a lot. It's like I watch the trailer and think I would enjoy. I watch a little of it then I check out and goof off on my phone.

I tried to watch some pro football over the weekend and didn't last long. When I was much younger pro football was fun to watch. Now it does little for me.
Same here. I do it all during NFL season as a fan, but I can barely make it through a single game anymore. I could count on one hand how many decent games I sat through this entire season.

I typically watch one or two drives by each team and I can tell how the game is going to go, I either pass out from boredom or just turn it off.

I turned off the Eagles game after 3 drives. The Chiefs Bills was much more competitive but the refs just annoyed me, I gave up on that at the half.

If the Super Bowl wasn't a holiday where I can go hang out with my old friends I would pass on it entirely. When I was a kid, the games were much more entertaining.

Only thing I can think of is maybe going to a bar/club? Depends on who I'm with though because you can more often then not have a great time with good company. I stopped religiously watching/following specific sports for a long time now so that's nothing new

I can't wait for baseball to start again, but I guess I'm a little biased, the Rangers had a crazy year and won their first championship only a season ago

The poker table. But specifically at a table where you’re with complete strangers. You’re at a table with a bunch of sad individuals thinking about poker, talking about poker, complaining about poker, reminiscing about the big hands and bad beats. What a terrible way to waste your time and possibly money if you suck at the game.

Riding a motorcycle tbh.

I feel like I’m missing something now. It used to be so fun when I got my first bike and now. Meh. My father had an ATV, a snowmobile, a boat, jet skis and a bunch of other shit and he liked biking the most.

I kept his old road king because he passed on and I still ride it on the rare occasion but I feel like I’m missing the point? And yes, I’ve rode sport bikes too when I was younger. It just totally lost it for me once I got into other things. Owned a vmax for a few years. I notice a lot of people who had bikes now have side by sides though so I can’t be the only one.

Snowmobiling blows everything else out of the water and it’s not even close for me. I have all the toys but I get most exciting for sledding. We’ve had a few shit winters but I’m never giving up on sledding. If I were homeless, I’d still own a snowmobile.

I'd say playing video games.

Watching MMA is getting boring, nothing too exciting to look forward to there.

Drinking, just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Reading books is very boring. Use to be an avid reader, but that all changed.

Exercising, use to love it, now it's a pain in the ass. Just not motivated at all.

How about you guys?
I agree with all of these except drinking. I still enjoy the hell out of that.

All of these to some degree, minus exercising...

If your exercise is a pain in the ass sherbro... you're doing it wrong. The dumbell is NOT meant to go up there

Entertainment, as in all of it, sports, movies, music etc etc are in the death throes. If it ain't outdoors and away from this fucking virus called humanity (thanks Matrix, ahead of your time), I'm pretty much over it.

MMA has never been worse I tend to agree on that

I guess reading and stuff like that yeah
