I'd say playing video games.

Watching MMA is getting boring, nothing too exciting to look forward to there.

Drinking, just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Reading books is very boring. Use to be an avid reader, but that all changed.

Exercising, use to love it, now it's a pain in the ass. Just not motivated at all.

How about you guys?

I tried to watch some pro football over the weekend and didn't last long. When I was much younger pro football was fun to watch. Now it does little for me.

Which game in particular? Who were the teams you were watching?

Damn, bro. Sounds like everything fun is boring to ya? Everything okay? You have any hobbies? (not including posting polls on Sherdog)

Definitely videogames. The idea of even starting Elden Ring feels like a daunting task and a massive investment of time that I don't have a need for.
Got it, but depend more on wich games

Street Fighter 6 never get boring, so some others... like Astro Bot i devoured it (i even had to impose myself to quit after some levels to don't burn it fast)

Then i have some games there waiting me there on my PS5 desktop like Final Fantasy 16, Tunic, Ghouls n' Ghost wich is all stuff i'm sure i will like, but i can't find the will to start it

Getting same with some tv series on Netflix, stuff guess i will like but i just don't begin it

Start things seems the problem, once i'm in i actually go opposite mood and burn them fast

Surprisingly it's not universal thing, like restarted go to gym because i noticed train at home was getting less consistent, day i chosen so next morning was at gym subscribing 6 months

At least making polls on Sherdog still clicks with you?

Honestly, when that many things stop being fun it's probably time to check your health and general wellbeing.

I would agree about watching MMA and sports in general. I much prefer interactive entertainment nowadays.

Watching football.
Kinda crazy because I was such a fan of the sport, been watching it since I was 7 years old. Could watch 3-5 games per week-end. But I'd say about 5 years ago I started caring less, the sport changed in a way I don't like anymore and since then I watched less and less. Nail in the coffin was the Euro 2024, my God, how shitty this tournament was... compared to the amazing Olympics.
I don't think I've watched any game since season 2024/25 started.

Here's the deal with exercising. It's a pain in the ass partly because of the costs especially if you try and join a gym or a studio of some kind. Gyms and studios now in many cases cost more than my monthly internet bill and water and sewer bill combined, and that's not even with unlimited classes. So try to be cheaper and go to a nationwide gym like L.A. Fitness or Planet Fitness. The memberships are a pain in the ass to get out of and going in the afternoon/early evening is a nightmare. People keep talking about the price of eggs or the price of gas. The price of these gym/studio memberships have been insane long before inflation set in.

The one thing I used to love though now that I don't like participating in as much is going out to eat. That might sound strange but I started cooking quite a bit especially after the pandemic started. The more I cook when I go to restaurants now I find myself with buyers remorse, and sometimes there's even food my body used to like but cannot take anymore such as Popeyes chicken and Publix chicken.

video games, watching sports, watching TV/movies.

the one that i'm disappointed in myself for is reading long novels. i used to read longer novels way more when i was younger. with all the options today to entertain you, it can be hard to sit there for hours and read just one thing.

Most sports are boring AF. I used to watch religiously basketball, baseball, football. Now I'm bored out of my mind watching for the most part. Got dragged to a Cowboys game and Mavs game this year and it was honestly painful watching. The best part was the Cowboys cheerleaders. Outside the Dodgers I need to gamble to feel any ounce of of anything other than boredom.

Movies too. Derivative AF and nothing but remakes and sequels (at least the main stream films).

Video games to a lessor extent. Feel like I've played everything they could make and it's just waiting for a sequel to your favorite franchise. Also feel like a complete loser if I waste too much time on this. I have too much going on in my life to get stuck on such a worthless hobby.

I think you just get burnt out on some things, if you've done it enough.

Video games for sure. Not sure if I just lost the passion or if it's because I've been getting horrible sleep the last 7 years and just don't care about anything anymore.
