Things that are overpriced.

Go on Neiman Marcus and you can find all the overpriced shit you want. They got some funky ass Walmart looking shoes that are like $1100. It's ridiculous.

There's a Neiman Marcus store not too far from where I live. Never had the urge to go inside, and now I know why.

you pay dues to give bj's?

Luxuries, I don't really care about. You're paying market value, because clearly other marks are willing to pay as much.

Necessities are a different story. Paying $20 for five disposable razors, that are probably manufactured for .10/each, is highway robbery.

Everything is overpriced nowadays. A better subject would be what's not overpriced. A McChicken is frickin 2 bucks now. They don't even have a dollar menu anymore. It's a "value meal" now.
Last year in NYC there was some guy at McDonald's losing his shit over no dollar menu and he bummed the dollar off someone in line lol. I had a good laugh.

If you think it's overpriced, then just make it yourself.

You will soon realize that it's not overpriced.
A lot of foods I just cook myself. Might not be 100%, but I can get to around 80% for less than 1/2 price. Foods that are worth the price are bone soups. Pho is a bargain.

A green tea, I bought one yesterday and it was $4. It was at an airport but that's disgraceful, it's a tea bag with hot water.

A gallon of scorpion venom. I can probably hire someone to milk it for me for a fraction of the price.

Cars. I was looking at the Ford Raptor, it was around 30k in America but over a 100k in Australia. Luxury tax, bastards.

The biggest is the monoply on housing. Spending your whole life paying off property is bullshit.

Quarters. They cost 25 cents but are really just pieces of metal. Fucking scam

Another monopoly is sunglasses.

Why are plastic frames and lenses with cheap coating so fucking expensive.

Established brands tend to be overpriced.

E.g. the other day i went to buy one of those small bacpack/water bladder things for trail running. CamelBak is so dominantb in producing these that often such a thing is referred to as "a camel back" whether its that brand or not. The one i bought was rrp $80 and on sale for $50 while the CamelBak equivalent was $250.

I have a camelbak water bottle for bike riding and it cost like 30 bucks compared to some no name brand that cost 5 bucks. I didn't want to chance it and ended up buying the camelbak version. I do wonder if there is a difference in quality

Its a piece of plastic bro. Those bottles all get manky after a while and are a pain to clean imo so I just buy 6packs of water in those nozzle bottles from the supermarket for $5. Reuse a few times then throw it out instead of washing.

Tampons. They're just cotton thingies I shove in my twat then toss in the bin a couple hours later. Why I gotta pay $10 for that when I could have bought 10 chocolate bars instead /:<

Of course there are alternatives but I'm not very adventurous when it comes to plugging it up o:

I have a Brita water bottle and find it works great. I take care of it, not a pain to clean, and I've had it a few years now. No problems. Better than using cheap ones that taste like plastic.
