Things that are overpriced.

Whatever the market will bear.

What'd you do to get the yellows?

Trucks.....I'm looking for a new one and I can't believe how expensive they've gotten over the years.

My first one was like 24k and it was pretty tricked out, you can't even really look at new trucks these days for 24k.

Also bullets, I was going through our ammo storage container and I was fining old boxes of 9mm and 357 mag for like 5.99/50 rounds....can't buy it for that price anymore.

Insurance, it's a whore no matter how you slice it.

Good mountaineering boots....good ones start at 4-500 dollars.

Someone had already stated shaving razors. They are very expensive for being plastic with a small sliver of cheap steel. Also ink cartridges for printers are very expensive.

Yep. Most prolifically shoplifted item.

Fuck you Gillette!

In Australia, land.

We have so much yet developed land is extremely expensive

A lot of foods I just cook myself. Might not be 100%, but I can get to around 80% for less than 1/2 price. Foods that are worth the price are bone soups. Pho is a bargain.

True, grocery stores sell at very low margins. Not worth raising chickens :)

cell phones.. some are priced as much as a decent laptop or HDTV

Bottled water in nations with great tap water.

War, or more accurately the military industrial complex. Just look at the defense budget.

MOST OVERPRICED THING EVER:
Paper money

Dollar bills and whatnot. It's a god-damned piece of paper with a picture and a signature of some asshole. Worthless.

Bottled water in nations with great tap water.

Even in nations with not great tap water you can get a sediment filter and a tap filter for peanuts.

Frames for glasses. I understand lenses costing money but hundreds of dollars for frames that look just like the 5 dollar gas station sunglasses? And if my kid accidentally sits on them they're going to brake anyways. It's a scam!
