Mine is a pain in my lower half of my back. Saturday it hurt to even touch my chin to my chest. Now the pain doesn't increase until I reach down past my knees.

I've been foam rolling, taking Ibuprofen, and using Bengay.
 
A whole lot of pain. The pain only occurs when I'm in the hole of a backsquat, though. Which is strange, because I had no problem front-squatting. Which should answer your next question.

Yeah. I also tried Good Mornings and no problems occurred. Except for DOMS in my hamstrings and lowerback.

Doesn't sound like a typical spasm but don't want to go about making diagnoses with insufficient info.

Therefore, generic advice: work around it as best as you can and try to allow some time for your body to heal itself.
