They Live log.

warm ups.

Good Mornings.
95 lbs x 5
135 lbs x 5
185 lbs x 5
205 lbs x 5

clean and Press
135 x5
155 x 4
185 x 0.

snatch grip deads
185 x 5
225 x 5
275 x 3
295 x 1
315 x 4( i spent at least ten seconds drying my hands after each rep. i am buying chalk tomorrow.)
345 x0

notes.
i had a bad nights sleep last night.
i was hungry through out the workout.
these are not excuses. however, i thought i should explain my lack of focus and poor performance.
my hands were sweaty on the snatch grip deads. i couldn't hold the bar for extended periods.

Form work later tonight.

Chalk is your friend.

Chalk is your friend.

I ran out. I am buying some tomorrow along with my pendlay's.

EDIT: i went out and benched. really because i wanted to see if my triceps got weaker or something. turns out they didn't. however they take a long ass time to get warmed up. this could explain my press lockout issues.

three things i noticed about my bench.
1.) i am weak off the chest. incredibly weak.
2.) my lock out is strong. if i had to guess i could probably lock out 60 to 80 pounds more than i could bench.
3.) my technique sucks.

so i may use the close grip bench as a way to warm up.

Good work with the oly. Its all about practice with the bar.

So what set did you decide on for bumpers/bar?

kg plates are key! Allows you to thoroughly confuse readers of your log.

Also, the colour plates are sexy as hell.

Just saying.

This is true.

OL'ers = Kings of style of the iron world.

Not that I have any bias, or anything.

i could probably afford the kg plates. however i was going to make DIY Platform.

Elite Bumpers & Pendlay NexGen HD Bar (Free Shipping)

i could buy this and save up the rest and then make the platform.

there is no way you could be biased.

That is a good bar. Build your own platform. Stupid to pay for one. Too lazy to read the bar description. Bearings are better than bushings, and do not go out of alignment as quickly if you drop the bar (which you will).

For your purposes, it matters not at all if you use kg or lbs. plates. Get what you can afford.

I'd probably buy the econs then. the only major difference seems to be look. besides i can just do some math and make the numbers kg :icon_twis

I know people say that raw lifters don't need to use chains and bands but I still do. I think incorporating these into my bench has really helped me out with exploding off the bottom. Also concentrate on exploding out of the bottom during your warm up sets. And are you keeping your upper back tight and squeezing your shoulder blades down while engaging the lats? Another thing that may or may not be affecting you is the bar placement when it is coming down.

squeezing shoulder blades down and lats engaging: i am probably not.

chains and bands: I've thought about incorporating them at one time.

bar placement: it could be better. however my bench is pretty BBish. it's been awhile since I've even done the lift.

Buy the cheaper ones and some cans of pink spray paint

Is there any other color of pink suitable for weight plates?

cherry blossom pink bro.

*diet shit.

double egg double sausage smishcuit with cheese.

two hashbrowns.

While getting my meal I thought i saw Pauly D. Turns out it was just some average orange skinned D-bag. it was so fucking bizarre.

Cherry blossom is only suitable in japan and Washington DC during the spring.

I guess titty pink is also an acceptable color for pretty much anything as well.

Titty pink is good.

i am pissed. i rise up on my toes during the OHP. so it's tainted my 200 lb press.... why..... WHY !? Life is indeed cruel.

I'll upload the video later. i screamed once again. that seems to happen after a lot of PR attempts. i am going to avoid gyms..

hopefully Arlecchino doesn't see that "power clean". that was ugly.

Edit: Just Some Notes.

I Did My Warm Ups Differently.

I used A Strict Military press Rather than A OHP. On Each Rep I Pressed Like It Was My Max.
