Holy shit, that was a awesome video, man!

I agree, do NOT enter a gym, youll either get thrown out, or youll hurt someone with the bar, possibly both.

based on your video that won't end well :icon_lol:

btw, where ever you are lifting it looks very familiar. I'm in an unfinished 80yr garage with 1 electrical out, studs showing and no heat/cooling. Builds character.

also I agree with the cheaper weights. I have hi-temps and Wright rubber bumpers and like them all a lot. pretty much indestructible and work for what I need.

I Am In A Garage As Well. Once Winter Comes It's Going To Suck. I'll Be Shoveling Snow For Warm Ups.

EDIT: I Bought The Shoes And Chalk. Ground Shipping Because I Am One Cheap Mother Fucker.

I know people say that raw lifters don't need to use chains and bands but I still do. I think incorporating these into my bench has really helped me out with exploding off the bottom. Also concentrate on exploding out of the bottom during your warm up sets. And are you keeping your upper back tight and squeezing your shoulder blades down while engaging the lats? Another thing that may or may not be affecting you is the bar placement when it is coming down.

I lift raw, I use them. Particularly for bench because my lockout sucks an entire roomful of dick. Bar rockets up off of my chest, then eventually hits the void my triceps are supposed to fill. Chains and bands help a little. And in my case every little bit helps.

Damn son have you ever hear of a herniated disk?! Are you doing power cleans or power curls?

Lol I kid, but seriously, slow the lift down at the bottom and keep that arch in your back.

Power Curls that time. I wanted the PR so bad i didn't notice my form was shit. I knew it was going to be bad. Mainly because i got pysched up,however that was utter shit.

Haha I know how that feels. When are you getting those shoes and bumper plates?

meh. it wasn't a push press like last time :D . i'll do a strict 200 once i hit 225 on the ohp.

It's great to see the days of no form videos are now so decisively behind you. In fact, you're changing from a form video refusenik to a the poster child of the form video movement.

lol. That was an out-of-control lift, but it looked good to me. Congrats on the milestone, man--and stay in the basement or wherever you are. ;)

Uhh...What ? I get lost at "refusenik"

Thanks man.
i Was surprised with how fast my lift of was. i actually lost balance mid-lift, i was thinking i may be able to hit a double. Lesson learned, all focus stays on the lift when doing it. i shall stay in the garage i promise you.

I am Typing or writing this down here. I've completed both long term and short term goals for when i started Press Wise. So My new goals are

short term: 225 - 240.
long-term: 300.

This may be really ambitious, However i feel I'll hit both goals.

You've got good intensity, bel. Once you learn how to channel that a little better, you'll really be able to use it to your advantage.

Walked an hour, with a couple of sprints added in. A.K.A Dodging traffic.
