I find that a cotton shirt is better than any kind of artificial material in terms of prevent bar slippage. Just in case you might have tried wearing one of them super fancy athletic shirts.
 
That is actually one of the reasons that I started wearing a shirt while clean & jerking and will wear a shirt under my singlet for them, as well. I was getting told that I was losing bar position because it was sliding.

I'm wondering if the same has been happening to me. I'll be chalking up from now on.

Twas cotton. I only wear those super fancy athletic shirts when I want to impress teh ladies.

I agree with this. I am not on board with the whole dry fit/under armor craze. I always prefer cotton. The only time I ever preferred under armor was when I was playing football in WI.
 
I get.my ua paid for through work. They offer some blended stuff With the feel of cotton but superior to it in terms of cooling and moisture control.
 
I'll take a Nike Dri-Fit over any other kind of shirt any day.

I do like them for undershirts on hot days. They don't stick like cotton does.

Nothing beats cotton drenched in so much sweat, it changes its colour, becomes shiny and sticks to you...

And because of you I just bought a lot of diet rootbeer.

For me, shirtless is not an option. I don't want to present my powerbelly and hairy back to everyone, and it's just not something people at my club do. Fortunately.

And it's not a sin, it's just a friggin' hour-long trip to get the rootbeer. I'm really looking forward to my keto-float...

I agree about the nike dri-fit. Its usually is a 50/50 cotton poly blend and feels amazing. Any t-shirt I buy now I check the tag and if its not a 50/50 blend I wont buy it. My gf thinks I'm a weirdo because I'm so particular about my t's. On a much cheaper route, target makes a bunch of their t-shirts in a 50/50 blend if you don't feel like dropping 20-25 bucks a pop on nike dri-fit shirts.

Notes: I used a wider foot position today. I noticed it changed my Torso angle drastically, So I'll need to work on technique. I also felt like I had to get under the bar much quicker, I'd assume that was because I couldn't pull the bar as high. I think this change will be good, but I'm going to need a lot of practice.
