Ages ago, yeah. Time doesn’t excuse those actions, but many modern Australian citizens are descendants of non-British immigrants who arrived well after that.
I Left Melbourne several years ago. It has become full of hipsters and woke cringe. Glad I got out in time. The weather is shit also.
Long enough that not a single person alive was there. It’s important to remember and learn from mistakes of the past, but nobody here today is culpable for the killing of those Aborigines.100 years ago isn't that long.
Well that's good.My daughter’s friends went to a protest in Brisbane. They had literally zero clue why they were going except “over 400 Aboriginal deaths in custody.”
Not there to steal anything or make trouble. Just bored of lockdown and completely ignorant.
Ive got this great idea lets clean out the prisons ship these people to the otherside of the world to a harsh baron country, force them into prison labour camps and then let them repopulate the knew the land. Its sounds crazy doesnt it.100 years ago isn't that long.

Its no excuse for the horrible shit that went on down here, but what do expect when you populate the place with jailbirds and criminals and have a goverment of the time that looked upon the native inhabitants as subhuman.

They probably just don't want to get cancelled by the rest of the world cause " if you ain't BLM muh racism"
