In my city, police have been giving out $1652 fine to anyone who disobeyed stage 3 lockdown rules and every place have those frustrating social distancing long queues but when it comes to this, it’s no biggie.

Sydney and Melbourne are the two places in Oz that still have ongoing Corona cases (still getting 3 or 4 new cases a day). There's no cases at all here in South Australia at the moment, so things have relaxed a lot and there were no attempts to prevent the protest here.

That's what the case was over. The premier banned it under the health directives, but they appealed the decision in court and won.
The .gov site says you had 4 new cases in the past 24hrs, so we'll see what happens. Only NSW, VIC and WA recorded any new cases yesterday.

Protesting the taking of a human life, by endangering more human lives, just doesn't seem too logical to me.

Around 1000 people are killed by police in America every year, the majority justifiably so, 100,000+ have died from the coronavirus. The priorities ought to be obvious enough.
