Rush 1991 with Jason Patrick and JJ Leigh is not available anywhere anymore, ffs. What good is the internet goddamnit?

Recently ive really gotten back into owning hard copies of movies. In a digitil world you never know if something will be taken down and changed or never seen again . Hbo taken down gone with the wind and disney editing their own movies made me rethink things. If its a film you actually enjoy ..... get a solid copy of it.

Also what kind of a middle name is Jason for a girl?
Jennifer Jason Leigh's just her stage name. She took the Jason from Jason Robards.

Plus physical copies have better video quality than streaming.

When food hasn't gone bad, though, and isn't likely to make ya sick, there's no way to objectively measure the 'goodness' of how it tastes. That's subjective.
He said there was no objective measure of food quality. I provided one. But you're right in what you say even if it is irrelevant. Everyone tastes differently. Some people I know treat eating as a chore because the taste of food doesn't do that much for them (and fair enough--I'm sure they benefit in some other unseen way that I don't) so they stick to meat and potatoes, while I love variety and I savor almost every bite of food I put in my mouth. So yeah, how good something tastes is as subjective as anything can be. But you can note trends and make predictions based upon them in a manner that mimics an objective judgment of quality, Michelin stars, for example.

You might be right. I did find this one on Vudu, but I really don’t need another subscription so to hell with that. Of course the only place I can play a hard copy is upstairs in the loft, so that still makes it kind of annoying.

You guys probably could just let them run longer. I didn't get barked at for letting the COVID thread in the berry go until it hit 14k posts. Most of the stickies in the OT run 3-4k before I take them down.

Unless you guys just like having smaller threads up here.
Longer threads would be more convenient for me, FWIW.

He was only making fun of what I'd said about there being no objective measure of the quality of a film.

You’re just butthurt over Starbucks polices so you have to lie to yourself and say their coffee tastes like gravel so you don’t have to drink their product. When in fact everything about them is better than Dunkin’ Donuts. The quality is just that much higher. I’m not even a big coffee drinker and know the difference in taste and quality.
So, how about if I think they're both shitty? And I love good coffee.

It's weird if you spell it traditionally.

So many names can switch genders with just a simple "Y".

Jason/Jayson, Robin/Robyn, Ryan....Rian...? Wait a tick, I don't think I've thought this through.

This may come as a surprise.
If I must face my demise
Won't care who laughs and who cries
meh, death is for the living anyway. They're the sorry sons of bitches have to deal with it.
