The problem is you're full of shit here. If you are worried about hypocrisy, and you don't post your private things publicly, then you should be against going after private stuff. But in fact, you like when other people's private stuff gets out. So, be whatever kind of ghoul you want, but the justification angle you're trying is garbage.

Are you still talking?

You lost a looooong time ago, bud.

10-7, 10-7, 10-7

And the winner is...Life.
I mean, weak general insults after you've been starched is kind of your thing. I think you should take a victory lap.

Imagine thinking that was a good comeback, and not exemplary of how absolutely delusional and inept you are...

Well I'm not saying there's some conspiracy, I think its more an unconscious bias. Like I said the latest F&F was rated better than the movies I mentioned and that's well after Walker's death so I doubt that's why. Popcorn guy flicks aren't elevated by the critics but I think they're treated with kid gloves more so than chick flicks, especially tween/teen/YA movies.

YA books/movies were getting quite a bit of praise for a while, but then they reached a stage where I think they'd been done to death and everyone was sick of them. There's only so many times you can see or read the same "coming of age" tropes and still have them make any sort of impact. Certainly that Mortal Engines movie was way too late.
I read a lot more novels than I watch movies, and at the moment authors/publishers seem to be doing their best to avoid the YA label, even when it clearly applies.

Should I listen to them? How do,I awaken?

Listen but learn to see from within. Slowly resolve one problem within your cortex that you know must be absolved and acknowledged. These are the simple steps to become beautiful, never stop.... Eventually someone who loves you will come and visit when the time is right....

On a side note, I just bought a used bike without riding it (first time I've done that) from an interstate dealer.
Wish me luck.
Anyone else done that (or car obviously)? How did it go?

Anyone want to play some Warzone? I've decided that it's acceptable to tastefully black out considering the circumstances and I'm about to stream some CoD.

I bet their windows will be prepared for the hurricane.

Seriously though, that Flex Seal tape that's being advertised is no joke. I'm thinking that it might actually be able to keep your shit together during a hurricane. It's crazy strong. It's ridiculously expensive for what you get, but you'll know that the money was worth it.

Oh shit, good looking out. If we aren't flooded tomorrow I'll check the hardware store. When Hurricane Barry was a no show, the winds still had the window banging a concerning amount. My window is five foot by probably ten foot, so if that fucker comes off I'm going to be halved.

That looks freaking fantastic. I love a gourmet cheesecake. Not very good at making them though. Maximum jealousy.
I take no credit for my good fortune; I can only honor her effort by enjoying it as much as possible, and I enjoy it a great deal, all the more so by sharing the experience, if you will forgive me. The glaze layer on top is absolutely melt in your mouth perfect. The filling sits firm on the fork and you expect it to be dense but then it turns out to be composed of the most delicate little bubbles of joy when it hits your mouth and it melts away with a clean finish thanks to the salty crust. Speaking of the crust, OMFG, Breton crackers. Who'd a thunk it?

After this altercation, are you feeling upset, irritated or relaxed?
Relaxed, but to be fair I came into it pretty tired. 12 hour days are kicking my ass. If I can manage to get the workload down, I'll have the energy to get really worked up again.

My arteries are stiff as a flagpole right now.

Breton crackers are an interesting choice. They have sesame seeds, right? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. That's honestly not just a pro-looking cheesecake, that's a level higher.

You prefer continental or baked cheesecake? Cheesecake's been out of my diet for years unfortunately, but I did enjoy a good baked cheesecake.

My enthusiasm for the evening has waned completely. I somehow lost the fucking phone number of a girl I met earlier today AND I was trying to duct tape the shaky pane of my window to make sure that shit doesn't blow off during the hurricane and I dropped the roll of duct tape from my window and a pack of drunk frat bros just grabbed the fucking duct tape and walked off.
<31>
That was good duct tape too.
Too bad they didn't, uh, stick around. And a rattling window? What a pane in the glass.

I'll see myself out now.

When was the last time you had a good rest Mr. Fawlty?

What were your thoughts on The Series Of Unfortunate Events on Netflix?
