I have to say, the Democratic party is in rough shape with so much infighting and the rise of socialists.

But I think it has to be acknowledged they scored a MASSIVE win over Trump with the Wall negotiations.

Trump has continued to lose face over the Wall. First Mexico was going to pay for the whole thing, then part of it, then none of it, then America is going to pay, then oh wait no America isn't going to pay either.

Then he backs himself into a corner with the gov shutdown, makes his demands... and now the Dems get credit for stopping a second shutdown and they only gave him 1/5th of what he demanded. Mr Art of the Deal got the shitty end of the stick.

I think this, more than anything else, is going to hurt Trump in the eyes of his base. Even his biggest, loudest champions like Ann Coulter are turning on him.

Cartels have been around forever and are not going anywhere. Their dirty money probably finances quite a few republicans. If illegal immigraton was really a problem it would have been stopped by now. The issue is their cheap labor makes people a lot of money. When was the last time you saw a MS13 gang member? The stuff you are complaining has been going here forever and it continues to happen because powerful people get a cut.
