DAYUM!
And yet, Fuck giving that bitch the time of day. No matter who she goes after.
DAYUM!
you guys really are that dumb eh?
Trump caved now, instead of just keeping them out for months or a year as he threatened, as the airports and other services were starting to shut down. Instead of just 800,000 in govt service work inconvenienced, millions more were about to be inconvenienced. Public sentiment for Trump had already started to sink and it would plummet once every day citizens started to feel the pain.
Trump thought the Dem's would cave first but they would not. They WILL not.
if Trump puts all of them out of work again, now after seeing all the pain and crying many of them were doing on TV, and if he uses them as ping pong balls, when he KNOWS the Dem's won't negotiate under that threat, he is doing nothing but hurting the workers and citizens as he already knows it does not work to get a deal. So what is the point other than hurting workers and citizens? And who is going to wear that if they do it deliberately and knowingly?
You don't think he has alternative plans?![]()
Thats one of his options at the end of this 3 weeks.I thought Trump could just declare a national emergency and push it through?
Trump just tweeted:
"I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!"
bad strategy from the get goLol.
He did it to help the workers but also fuck those workers if he doesn't get his way.
bad strategy from the get go
he should have just pushed it through, everyone would have forgotten by now
Except its not.Thats one of his options at the end of this 3 weeks.
The product of living and entire life of extravagant wealth and privilege, coupled with extreme narcissism and ignorance, and propped up by an almost complete lack of accountability. He's used to getting what he demands by virtue of being the one demanding it. And if things go sideways? Somebody else pays. I think he legit views himself as royalty.I think it's pretty clear he has no strategy for anything.
A lot of drugs do come over that border. There are massive busts at the border all the time. You don't think it is a misrepresentation for the administration to talk about the amount if narcotics brought into this country while refusing to acknowledge that the drug enforcement agencies in this country have concluded that the vast majority of narcotics do not enter the country through illegal crossings
Trump has not done his homework on the subject and as such is platform is not based on any evidence or even logical reasoning
Where are you getting this idea there is public support for a wall at all? There's never been a poll indicating there us support for a wall, especially not a non-Mexico financed one. I know you'll dispute any and all polls, but then you are still left with supposition as your only backing for your view point. And don't say because Trump was elected because you can vote for someone without supporting all their policy positions.
Well, except it is.Except its not.
Well not if you want something that can work anyway.
A lot of drugs do come over that border. There are massive busts at the border all the time.
And that last paragraph is pretty bogus, ask a question and then say the obvious correct answer doesn't matter.
It would be incredibly petty and kind of hilarious if Trump just reopened the government so he could hold the state of the union in the House, then shuts it again. Because you know he doesn't give a shit about the workers going without pay.
My understanding is that the "sanctuary" policy encourages illegals to get there with the idea they will be welcomed with open arms. What sanctuary cities has to do with the difference between "tougher measures" and the wall escapes me.
its also incredibly likely.
